I have not heard of it. I read the post above on what it's about though and it sounds interesting.

Go to youtube and type in preview of movie unplanned.  I saw the preview somewhere.  It isn't that long til it comes out so I am sure previews are available online.

It looks like it will be really emotional.

:clover:      :peace:     :clover:   Looks like an okay movie, other than my beliefs on that certain topic. I don't plan to watch this movie in the theater though, just not worth that kind of money to me.   :clover:    :peace:

Not familiar with it - what is it about?

It's about Abby Johnson who formerly worked for Planned Parenthood. She had to be present for an ultrasound abortion after she had moved far up into the organization. It made her realize what was going on and now she's on the pro life side. She even testified before Congress. Not that everyone cares, but it is a baby being destroyed. She cares. I care. Do you care?

And if you do care, you might want to see the movie when it first comes out at the end of this month. I like to support the Christian movies that make it to the theaters.

I care.  There was a baby at church yesterday that was alive and well and healthy, fully formed. Perfectly fine little 5 pound baby.  She was born at 8 months and weighed 4 pounds.  The dumorats have passed laws that says you can legally kill this living being.  Heck they have passed laws now that you can kill them after they are born.

God have mercy on us!

Completely agree with you.  I'd really like to see the movie.  Might go with a friend but, I have my granddaughter and don't know if she could handle it so, we'll see.  Not sure if I'll get to.

I recently came across an interesting podcast called Red Pilled America. It definitely has some right-wing bias, but it still tells real stories about real people in real situations and will leave anyone who listens objectively to question the liberal agenda and double standard.  I would encourage anyone to listen to just the first two or three episodes and see if you have a good or bad taste in your mouth afterward!  (You can even earn a few pennies doing so if you search for my Paid to Listen to Podcasts thread in these forums with a non-referral based link to a paid podcast app).

This is crazy coincidence, but the very podcast I referenced above just yesterday did a new episode called The Culture War and it focused squarely on this movie Unplanned.  I had no idea five days ago that the podcast was going to feature this story next!

The story of how they got the movie made and how they found their lead actress are both amazing and show the true power of prayer! (The actress has her own abortion story and the My Pillow Guy was instrumental in getting this movie made).

ANYONE who is considering whether to see this movie should take a listen to these stories - they truly are amazing!

I'm pro life so I'd probably  like the movie. Will wait till it c9mes on redbox. Never go to the movies either  to expens8ve.

I usually attend the Christian movies to support them financially.

I feel that it's well worth that expenditure to keep them coming.

I also make a point to thank the manager of the theater for showing the particular Christian film I came to see.  :angel11:

EVERYONE go see this movie!!!

And if you can afford it, buy a few extra tickets on your way out and pay them forward to someone else. A friend of mine did this out in California, then tried to get some employees at Planned Parenthood to take the tickets.  They declined his offer of free Unplanned tickets... go figure.

I have not heard anything about this movie.  I don't go to the movie theatre very often because I don't like to go alone and I don't have anyone to go with.

I finally made it out to see the movie last night. It was the last day that my local theater had evening show times for it, so I was fortunate enough to notice that in time to go and had a free night available. It is amazing all of the [completely accidental and absolute random attempts (looking at you Twitter) of] censorship that this true story has fallen victim to. Yet it has still managed to bring in a lot of viewers. I specifically wanted to watch this one in the theater (as opposed to DVD rental or streaming service) so that I could add to its bottom line numbers - even if just by one.

The story itself was quite compelling. I'm not going to lie - there were a few graphic scenes. But nothing more than you would see on any cable TV drama (or in today's world what you would see on regular network television).

It absolutely is a story which needs to be told and needs to be seen. It is a shame that so many forces out there are hell bent on trying to silence it at all costs and/or paint this true story as "propaganda".

Of course. I guess the front line people at Planned Parenthood are not a part of the actual murder so they aren't seeing it first hand. I remember reading where this woman said she was a nurse and after the doctor dug the baby out of the mother and threw the parts in a bucket it was her job to fish through the body parts to make sure he had gotten all of them.  2 arms.  2 legs.  Head.  I mean if you are identifying BODY PARTS how can you say this isn't a baby!!!

Dark and Evil are going to do ALL they can to silence Truth and what is right.  Abortion is murder. God says "I knew you at conception".  This country, this world is in trouble.  People better wake up.  Time is running out. Jesus is coming back.  And I think it will not be long.

If people do not want to believe this then that is fine. It is their choice.  I won't argue with people.

I would like to see the movie but think I will wait for it to come out on DVD.  The previews had me crying. :(
