I’m 35 and still do egg hunts. I also enjoy Easter candy from a basket. Now, I have managed to find Russell Stover chocolate bunnies sweetened with stevia instead of with sugar so I don’t have to eat myself sick out of having eaten a whole chocolate bunny at once!

I celebrate the Resurrection.  I have heard some people purchase new clothing on Easter to represent a new beginning or a fresh start.

We use to always get a new dress for Easter but not to represent anything.  We just got an Easter dress.

It has been years since I celebrated Easter.  When I did, it was a lot of fun.

The rest of my family usually does the traditional Easter dinner but I work on Sunday's so I always miss it.  My mom always makes me a plate so I get to enjoy the meal later.

Christmas is the celebration of Christ's birth. Easter celebrates His Resurrection. I've never heard the reverse.

And of course I'll be celebrating it. The holiest day of the year!

Right on, JediJohnie. He is risen!

I am Catholic and we always celebrate Easter with Mass and usually a meal. And although I wouldn't call it 'celebrating' there are few things in this world more moving than the reverent observance of Holy Week. Holy Thursday Mass is a very moving experience - probably my favorite Mass of the year from a solemn perspective and Good Friday services can really put that lump in my throat.  The entire season of Lent can be very sobering and reflective. I usually do Stations of the Cross on Wednesday evenings during Lent.  All of that builds up to an even more joyful celebration when Easter rolls around!

I don't go to church or do anything religious on Easter - I do worship in my own way every day not just what someone says is a day to do whatever. I am going to buy myself some Easter candy. I won't decorate them but I will boil myself some eggs LOL because I like them.  I might decorate my house a little but that is all about it.

Before my grandson was born I would go to church and sing in the church choir.  Now I am with my daughter and her family at Easter to celebrate with my gtrandson.

We do the whole shibang at Easter.  Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday.  It's a lot of services, worship and singing, but it's a lovely way to remember and celebrate.

This year, I'm doing a ton of singing at my church, then taking the Monday after off to relax with my husband (and get half priced candy!).

It is interesting, I grew up in a Panama and did not even know that Easter was celebrated with eggs and candy, etc.  Back on my day it was more a Religious celebration, could not go to the beach, play loud music and on Good Friday even the Television stations would shot down.  It was just family gatherings, church and dinner with family.

since I had my children, I have celebrate it Easter in one form or another, but always with eggs, we have done family dinners and even gone on vacations, either to NYC, FL or to an amusement park, depending on my girls and what they want to do.  Since their school spring break always was for Holy week, we would always go somewhere, now they are older with kids of their own.

We went to Disneyworld several years ago over Easter break.  On Sunday, we packed into the car and drove to a local church that we found was just a few miles away and had a morning Mass scheduled.  I am not exaggerating to say that it took over 90 minutes to travel three miles (traffic was that bad - there was not a single accident in that stretch) and we ended up missing Mass completely.  We certainly tried to get there and left in what we thought would be plenty of time to arrive on time!

I can't remember the last time I was able to go to Easter service since I always work on Easter sunday.  This year though we're going to a new church and they are offering service the night before.  Unbelievable I even have Saturday off so get to go this year.  I think Easter is my favorite holiday.
