Are eyebrows facial hair?

I would say yes. After all, it is on my face. Therefore we can call it facial hair if we like but usually we don't.

Since I don't shampoo and blow dry my eyebrows I would say yes, facial hair.

See, I am going to go against the grain (and I have no real logical reason for my opinion) but I don't believe eyebrows are facial hair. Even though they are technically hair and on the face...


I don't know of any limiting definition specifically - but I always considered facial hair as being limited to cheeks, chin, and lip. Maybe that's a guy thing?


Again - it it still hair, but my eyebrows are never going to grow several inches to a foot long or more if I leave them unattended, but my moustache and beard will eventually get there if I decide not to shave.


I fully understand the logic and opinions of everyone else in the thread and your logic is much more sound than my own!

Since it is hair and on your face I guess yes.  But when people say facial hair they usually don't mean eye brows.

What point is it raising? Women have hair growing on their face besides their eyebrows... all the skin has hair follicles. Some women's facial hair is darker & they have to get plucked & waxed or they get "mustaches"
