Tennis? Anyone?

This is something I would love to follow, can't ever remember it's going on!!

Monday 1 July 2019 and will finish on Sunday 14 July 2019.

I didn't realize it was on until Venus got beat and it made the news.  I have been watching a bit since then and also follow results on line.  Tennis is one of the sports I like watching.  It's interesting how the players make those white outfits personal.

I use to love to play tennis, and watch on TV. I still watch sometimes however I am too old to play anymore.

My wife is a tennis addict: plays five to seven days a week and watches tournaments and friends that are playing. Every July fourth revolves around Wimbledon. My wife is going to the Australian open, with my daughter, next year. Cori "Coco" Gauff was the fifteen year old that beat Venus Williams. Coco played really well but I do not think she would fare as well against younger sister Serena. I was somewhat pleased that Naomi Osaka lost in the first round now that she identifies herself as representing Japan even though she has been in the United States since she was age three. All of her tennis skills were learned in America and prior to her Indian Wells win in 2018, claimed to not know any Japanese language. I think that Djokovic and Nadal will head to the finals for men.

I am glad wimbledon is going on now. I have followed Serena since her first tennis major win at the US Open in 1999 and have tuned in to several Wimbledons when they aired on NBC. I remember seeing Serena and Venus play against each other years ago and I also remember Venus winning there twice since I was watching live. They inspired me to want to play tennis but certain circumstances prevented me from doing so. I hope Serena wins her 24th grand slam major to tie Margaret Court at this year's Wimbledon final and can't wait to watch her try to do so on the 13th.

No hate tennis,,,  don't watch it, don't play it, don't even know how to play it.  I think its boring almost like golf. Why do you want to hit the ball back and forth or chase after a ball in golf LOL    its just me.  I know a lot of people who love both sports,,,  I'm not into it

I like watching tennis sometimes. I am not really into it but I do find it relaxing to watch sometimes.
