I don't have pets because I am not in the mood to have to clean up after them like a child.  Nope not me.

Keep at it. A suggestion may be is to get a little bell, put a long ribbon on it and put it at the doorknob. Train it to when it needs to go poppy to nose the bell.

Thanks we may try the bell. We did see someone on YouTube do that with their dog and it seemed to have worked
