Cat Adoption Event
« on: August 30, 2019, 11:07:01 pm »
So last weekend a local animal rescue group held a cat adoption event in a used bookstore. I went with the intention of just petting/playing with the kittens and cats up for adoption. I'm not in the position to adopt a cat for various reasons, but i still enjoy seeing them. No remorse and I wasn't the only one who did that. Has anyone else gone to an event like this just to see the animals but not take them home?

Cats do have the tendency to do that, don't they? The cat we had growing up was a stray who just came to our house and refused to leave. He was very friendly to humans, but showed the other cats in the neighborhood who's boss. They didn't mess with him.

You DO NOT I repeat DO NOT EVER go to a pet adoption even or to the animal shelter with the intention of just "looking" or "petting" a few cats or dogs. lol  You most likely will leave with a fur critter. haha

Nothing wrong with doing that though.  Last time I went to the animal shelter I left with the sickest dog in the shelter. :(

When we went to the vet a few days later and I found out what she had it was too late.  He tried to get me to take her back and get my money back or get another dog.  They would have put her to sleep. I refused.  I told him to start the treatment.  I will pay for it.
