My 3yrr old old grandson broke his elbow. Has a cast has to wear for a month. He like wrestling moves but not for awhile. None of my 3 kids never broke anything. Will get him a couple books for a quite activity.

None of my kids ever broke anything, either. When my grandson was 4, he was climbing on a dresser and it tipped over, falling on him and breaking his hip. He was in a waist to toe cast (both legs) for 4 months and couldn't walk. With the cast, he was too heavy to carry so they used a wagon to haul him around. He was a hyperactive kid and never slowed down. Can you imagine the trouble his mom and dad had keeping him down?  That's when they made the mistake of getting him a tablet and CD player for games. That's all he wanted to do even after the cast was off.

I hope your grandson will heal quickly. It has to be rough for the parents and you.

It's so hard to see little ones slowed down like that.  Especially when it is a sweet grandson  :in-love:

I sure hope he heals quickly, it is NO fun having a cast on at any age. I have 6 kids, and only one ever broke anything.  He not only broke it but curved the bone upwards. It was the way that he fell on it I guess.  They thought it might need screws but luckily, he only needed a cast.

A fracture isn’t as serious for anyone that young. It takes less time for a broken bone of a child to heal, but that’s still sad news!

My 2 1/2 year old grandson is constantly getting scrapes and bruises.  He had to get 8 stitches on his shin right after he started walking.  He ran straight into a new wooden deck and gashed his leg open.  So far, though, no broken bones.  But I have a feeling that it is only a matter of time.  He is constantly on the go with no fear!!
Have a wonderful day!

Sorry to hear. I do hope it heals quickly. I broke my elbow when I was 30 years old and it was so very painful. I feel bad for him.

It's really hard to keep a four year old quiet, they love to tumble and run.
