Starting to Christmas shop gotten somethings. Hate Macy's and love it to. I had. Picked out some things on sale then went back to look at the cart .The items were twice as expensive grrr

Did you leave in your cart for a while.  Some stuff is only on sale for a short time.  Usually doesn't double in price.  And some things if you leave in your cart for a while and don't check out they will offer you a deal on the items.

I have a Christmas Club account at my Credit Union where they take $10 a week from my paycheck & save it up all year & give it to me in a lump sum in November to spend on Christmas (or whatever).  Makes life a little easier for sure.

I saved on some Christmas candy today.... I bought some Halloween Candy 50% off at Ralphs this morning -- the candy is not Halloween themed, so it's perfect for Christmas as well.  Score!  Love holiday savings :)

Our Walmart only had big bags of bubble gum left in the Halloween candy.  Did not look at the Christmas candy yet.

Don't have to, I don't spend money during any of the holidays.  Too commercial and no fun anymore.

Yes, I have saved enough money because it is also my emergency fund.
Some banks offer special Christmas Club saving accounts where
you can add funds any time of the year. Look for high interest paying
accounts. You can also use a big jar to save all coins and small change
from shopping. It really adds up at that ti\me of the year.

I start watching sales in September.  Last summer though I found a clearance at a Walmart in Charlotte and did a lot of shopping for sweatshirts, bathing suits (they got these) t-shirts.  They were doing an inventory and had really marked down some thigs they did not want to count.   $2 and 3 dollars for each of the sweatshirts..it was great.   Anywhere I go I always check out clearance items, or if there is anything I am looking for I do that too.

No I haven't.... I wish I had the extra money to put away. Every year I say I am going to do it, but I don't.... I wish I had enough money to pay off everything and just save, save, save.

I always save money but not just for the holidays.  I don't celebrate so I don't have to spend money on holiday stuff.

No I haven't saved anything. I'm still trying to come up with my real estate taxes that are due in November. I don't start paying for stuff I buy for Christmas until the beginning of the New Year, when I pay it off gradually.

No, not really doing a lot of shopping this year and anything I do shop for it will need to be on sale or it stays in the store.
