Have you ever been SOOO hungry and then when you finally eat, you just lose your appetite?

All the time. As kids my sister and I had named stages for hunger. Level 1: could eat. Level 2: starving. Level 3: so hungry I kinda feel queasy. Level 4, it went away I'm not hungry anymore.
For me anyway I really do have to wait a few minutes until the cycle comes back around or else a giant steak in front of me is just like.. ehh.

Yes, I know what you mean! I've been so physically hungry that I start feeling nauseous and then can't eat because of the nausea! That doesn't happen to me very often, thank goodness, because usually I'm eating a meal before I even get hungry.  :peace:

No.  I can't recall anytime this has happened to me, unfortunately.  But it's funny to read about it happening to people as it seems crazy but beneficial to survival at the same time.

At one point after my workout I was beyond hungry after I was done with my routine I ate one bite of my lunch and just could not get it down.

No. I get hungry a lot and then I stay hungry until I eat. It's the one thing I'm really good at!

I usually lose my appetite while making meals. That sounds like I don't like my cooking...not true, but I just don't feel like eating. Funny and weird thing happening to me lately is that I'm usually not hungry at all on a Wednesday. How weird is that? I'm also at the point where I make 2 meals-one for hubby and one for me because my tastes have changed. Don't like spaghetti sauce, so I make plain for me and sauce for him. He loves Buffalo/Korean/Srirachi/BBQ wings. Because of surgery, I can't eat anything real spicy and I never did like BBQ sauce.  On that night, I wait to eat because I'll have backed mac and cheese or eggs and he hates the smell of both. Is he strange or am I?  :D

I think that would be useful for dieters!  I have the exact opposite response.  I get so hungry that I eat way more than my body needs.  It's a bad habit I need to break.  My daughter is a personal trainer, and she has such self control when it comes to portion size!!!

I have had that happen, but usually if I wait a few minutes the appetite will come back.  Sometimes I am not just hungry but also really tired.

Yes happens a lot when I am at work.  Get so involved that I forget lunch and then it is too late as dinner is just a couple of hours away but when I get home I really don't want dinner.
