I have a disability, so I have to make regular doctor visits, have one coming up on the 10th, and later this month to class for knee replacement.

I would say monthly for me like every 3-4 months depending on if I have time or not.

I visit my physician/have an appointment every six months (or so) which is what my insurance covers. I do a medical check on friday and a physical in June. I am not sure if that will hold true in two thousand and twenty as my insurance coverage has changed: same cost but dramatically less coverage. I have not gone in any more than that over the last five years. My wife and kids go in more frequently and I have added coverage for my dogs. It is amazing how expensive insurance has gotten. My homeowners insurance charges an extra three hundred dollars a month because we have a wood shingle roof. If the roof goes bad the insurance will only cover forty percent of the cost. We switched insurers and save about eight hundred dollars a month

I go once a year for my annual wellness check. This year I had to go more often because I broke my metacarpal #5 bone.  All healed up now.

I've never gone to a doctor just to make sure everything was okay. Only if something is wrong, and wrong enough to justify the hassle/expense.

Me too.  I have heard several say they get a complete physical every 6 months.  I am curious as to how they get insurance to pay for it?  It is not necessary.  And if you pay out of pocket you are looking at probably $1500 or that is what they told me when I called to inquire about costs.

I visit my primary physician annually for my Annual Physical.

I also see my Dermatologist almost annually.   This year I'm glad I didn't skip her!   I had 3 spots biopsied.
One mole turned out to be a melanoma.  Luckily for me very very early stage so a surgery took the mole and a 1cm margin around it.  All clear now.

I generally just go in for my yearly physical; unless something pops up in between; try my best to stay healthy.

I have to see my primary once a year for blood tests for hypothyroid.  I see a GI, rheumatologist and a cardiologist every 3 mo so I get plenty of pokes and prods.
