They didn't confirm his daughter died in the crash. Just Kobe. There will be a press conference around 5 p.m. today.

I just read about this online. The headline stated his daughter was killed also. So sad.  :'(

I just had bought a book about Kobe that I hadn't read yet. It will be bittersweet now to read about him knowing what had happened.

Kobe, his daughter, and two others were killed in that helicopter crash. It's just weird after LeBron James just passed him in the all-time scoring race just yesterday.

It was him, his daughter and several others, my daughter felt so sad about it, she said mama i'm going to pray, and she came to me and just gave me a long hug.

For my son this is the first time a national sports figure has died in his prime, my son is taking it hard. It reminds me back to when dale Earnhardt died at Daytona. Very sad.

It is sad! According to the Sheriff's Report there were 9 people on the aircraft. I can't imagine what it's like for their families. And it's even worse for me to hear that TMZ broke the story before all of the next of kin was notified.  :'(
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

It's just a race to see who can report the news first, there is no form of decency in news reporting anymore. SAD!!!!

There were 9 people killed.  I am calling BS and fake news on all of this. It is not that hard to get it right and yet every single news source is reporting something totally different with one reporting last night that all of his kids (numbers vary greatly) were killed in the crash.  Then you have the random people who were also suppose to be on the chopper which adds up to about 137.  It is ridiculous.

Just how it is in the everybody has to know everything immediately world we live in.  There was a police stand off in my home town several years ago.  Two cops were shot.  A radio station was blabbing the name of the cop all over the place and the scene had not even been cleared and his wife did not know yet.  You can't blame the media entirely.  The nosy busy bodies want the info so they can plaster it on their social media.  So it is not just the news sources.
