Steak N' Shake

I never got the hype of this place.  I didn't like the burgers.  The shakes were tasty though.

I like the shakes, especially during happy hour when they're half price (2-5 p.m.).

I like Steak and Shake, but unfortunately there isn't one that is near where I Live.

A couple of Steak n Shakes near me recently closed. If they had better fries, I might have stopped there.

We now have a Steak 'n Shake near my home.  The last time I ate there I got very, very ill.  I think they must have added a few toadstools in with my mushroom burger...  Haven't been back since and probably won't for a very long time.

Never had Steak N' Shake -- I've heard of them, but I don't think we have any around here in So Cal yet. 
We do have Sonic where they come up to your car, not skating though.  I would enjoy the skating theme, sort of like something out of the 50's.

Love Steak 'n Shake.  Their shakes are to die for. No; really. To die for. 

I worked there for a while and actually watched them make them from scratch with; wait for it; actual read fresh ingredients like milk and ice-cream.

I think they use to skate at Sonic too. Both places I do not visit as the Steak and Shake closed down and both places I had a bad experience.

Oh what a horrible experience.  I'm sorry you had to go through that.  I know that if that happened to me, I would take a very long vacation from the establishment as well.  In fact it would probably be a permanent vacation.  I hope you never have to go through that again.

Nope, never really been there! I would consider eating their food, but they were rude to me once! Not that impressed by the looks of it. Like the idea of value meals they have though!

i have never heared about Steak N' Shake, but the concept is not a bad idea...

We have a few where I live but they are horrible. Very bad management time after time. They cannot seem to keep employees. It took 30 minutes last time I was there for my milkshake.
