I would send an email and explain the situation, maybe they can use something else to verify.  seems like your email should be good enough.

Wow! No cell phone?  :o
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

Get a Trac-phone. They're cheap.

Why would an email be good enough?  This allows people to have multiple accounts.  Some people may have multiple cell phones they can get a text on but most do not.  Too many are trying to do surveys and call it a job and get a full time income. SO... the sites, in order to protect the integrity of the site have had to resort to tougher measures to ensure people are not cheating.  I guess they figure pretty much every one has a cell phone these days.  Esp since the government provides free cell phones to over half the country.

Wow, I’m very surprised by how you can live without a phone for our days. I don't know how you do that, but I would never survive without a phone. For me, the computer is synchronized with my samsung galaxy a51 and when I'm on the subway I don't waste time shitting my eyes on the walls but I work. For me, time costs money and if I only worked from the office it would mean that I would lose a lot of clients every day. My advice is to buy a phone and see how life becomes easier. You can even make payments online without sitting in lines and waiting.

That's a great suggestion.

You can try using a google voice number, they're free -- it accepts text messaging.  If that is what is needed to get verified.

I have three sites that I do surveys on.  A couple of months ago Branded Surveys decided that you need a cell phone for verification purposes  in order to do surveys (I do not have a cell phone nor do I have access to one) .  I have been doing the daily poll  and watching videos to reach the cash out point and then I was going to just give it up.  Today I reached the cash out point (I usually cash out for a amazon card) but they won't let me cash out because no cell phone. UGH   >:(

Are you able to get a government phone?

How about using a computer to cash out? Or maybe you can get a virtual cell phone. Maybe it would be best if you contact the company & voice your current issue.

What is a virtual cell phone? I doubt contacting the company would do any good. Too many people are cheating the system and have multiple accounts. We see that on this site. Having to have a cell phone kind of eliminates that.

I have to use cell phones to verify payments through my apps but not survey sites like this.

There are a few now that when you cash out you have to verify with a cell phone (text). It cuts down on fraud. Too many trying to cheat.

Textnow app? So you need a cell phone to use the app.

Some people are just stupid and just use random phone numbers or email addresses. The thing is those random things can belong to someone else. I had some idiot use my email address because he did not want to use his and connected to his Netflix account. So when I started getting emails I closed the account LOL

You also have to be careful if you use these numbers that are temp numbers because other people have access to the texts. I would get a $10 phone from Walmart if I were doing a lot of stuff like this. In today's world it is always good to have a phone anyway.

You still have to connect it to a real cell phone number that YOU own. From what I could figure out the texts are then forwarded to your cell phone.  There use to be a number you could get and the text message was forwarded to an email. But you have to use it consistently or it will be deleted and the number given to someone else. You never know what personal info will be sent so you don't want someone else to have those texts.

You do not need a smart phone to get texts. The dumbest flip phone will receive texts.
