  Some Americans love money...other people around the world love money too. Without offending anyone...
they are simply greedy...they want more and more and sometimes they are ruthless in the way they get it.
  Yes, the rich gets richer! and  the poor gets poorer!

I wouldn't say that we "worship" it, but with the price of everything going up, and employment rates and wages going down, a lot of people are very concerned about the money they have.  Whether it is to simply support themselves or a family.  A lot of people I know, my self included, are doing things we normally wouldn't for money, just to make ends meet.  It is a very odd feeling to go into a sperm bank to make a quick $80 and to unexpectedly see a friend come in the door after you, and then talk about how you both plan to sell plasma later...  On a side note, I don't think we have shaken hands since that meeting!

I think most people dont love money so much!! Its just that we need money in order to live in this world today!! For me i think family is the most important!!

most people are greedy and want more than what they can handle with it.  just to purchase random things that they dont need.

Believe me, I would be more then happy to do away with money and trade for things I need. The value of items in this world would be more fair if it was based on trade value rather then monetary value too.

i think why we love money so much is becuase there are lots of things in the world we want and you need money to buy them so you want more money.

Americans grow up very comfortably. Everything we want is at the tips of our finger tips.  It just takes a little money to get whatever we desire, so we pursue that money. It's kinda sad how much we do worship money, and yes, we are very greedy.  I admit to it. lol. I do love money.

Why does.......ANYONE love money so much? It's not just America, homie g-dawg skillet fresh. Kind of prejudice of you to assume that (we) all Americans love money? It's as it is for anything desirable. If you make someone want something, and keep making them want it, more and more people will also want it, etc etc etc.

Americans love money because americans need money. The maket is so inflated that we need a ton of money even to survive.

I like money not because I'm American nor because I'm greedy.  It pays for what I need and want and because money does that for me I like it.  If you want to live off love or something go ahead, but judging others is not a good way to love.

Because all they/we know how to do is work. Most have to put their family second because money runs most of their/our lives.
