Has anyone used grocery delivery or curb side delivery or do you still go into the grocery store?

I had been going to the grocery store myself, but now I hear the stores want you to wear a face mask. So far I've held back on doing that. That may force me to have it delivered. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I NEED to go outside and see real people and stuff; you know?

In my whole wide life, I've never seen anything so overblown. Sorry; just my opinion based on my own history.  :confused1:

I've done both!  I'm hoping that the next time I need to restock that self isolation will be over and I'll feel less stress going inside the grocery store.

We haven't used grocery curbside or delivery service yet, mostly because I'm ultra picky when it comes to the state of my groceries. I don't like when there's any dents in the cans. I don't like it when the paper is coming off the boxes or they're dented. I like my produce to be just so. And I'm pretty sure that someone picking out my groceries wouldn't be as OCD as I am about them. Plus, our delivery service wait time in our area is about a week or a week and a half. I guess i'm alright with wearing a mask and latex gloves to go to the store and pick out my own stuff, especially now that our Neighborhood Market Walmart is only letting so many people in at a time so you can stay far enough away from anyone.  :peace:

I've the pick up several times even before the virus problem and have never had any issues with the items I've gotten always as good or better than I would pick out so I've been very pleased with this service

My son usually shops for us with a mask and gloves these days  right. Think I may try a home delivery from Safeway or lucky. Like that cause you can stay on a budget easier. They do cost though except your first time.

Yeah its pretty simple and you can just have them put it on the side somewhere so you don't need to be in contact with any employees.

I've never had groceries delivered except dog food from amazon or walmart.com, (and I just started doing that a couple of months ago.)   I haven't been to the grocery in a month and I'm thinking about getting Kroger to deliver me some in the next few days.

I haven't been to the grocery store in weeks.  My husband has gone for our groceries.  He has been wearing a mask.  the employees are now starting to wear masks as well.

I since the beginning of this year have only had deliveries or done curb side I have not went into a store.  As soon as the WHO started sending out information in early December about the virus I have been extra cautious. Started doing the social distancing then too. I take care of 2 elderly people both around 90 and have family members with under lying health issues and immunity problems.  (Asthma and cancer  survivors.}  A lot of the Indian tribes began to prepare in December but could get no assistance from the Federal Government.

I've made just a few visits to a familiar grocery store close by.  No online orders, no delivery services.  I didn't linger in store since we've got social distancing in place nor did I wear any type of mask or bandana (which works reasonably well).  At first, you only saw a few, including clerks, wearing a mask, but that has almost become the norm now.  The floor had taped marks designating the requested 6 ft. of spacing.  Social distancing compliance is required in my state which is set to expire April 30.

We have used both ways to get groceries, but I do not really like delivery service because it is extremely flawed. When I have ordered, they substitute items and it's frustrating because the things they substitute do not come close to what I actually ordered. I would rather know at the get go if they have and item or not and base what I buy from that. I also purchase alot of produce and sometimes the delivery has given me old stuff that I would not pick up or I have also gotten outdated products. We are trying just to go to the store less often and buying ahead so we do not have to go to often.
