Face Masks
« on: May 14, 2020, 07:14:06 pm »
Anybody else making face masks? In the middle of April I told my daughter we needed to make face masks because everyone was going to need one. Neither one of us knew how to sew, but boy did we learn fast. My daughter posted the first few on her Facebook page and all of her friends wanted them and they shared it with their friends and over and over. We are so busy but luckily we are keeping up. Have to make 60 tomorrow from todays orders.

We made face masks using bandanas with a video on facebook. It takes a couples of folds a little tacking with thread if you want and you use hair bands to attach around the ears. Work just fine.

That sounds like a great idea. I do not know how to see either, but I bet I could learn fast. Making Face Masks sounds like something that I would enjoy doing. Good luck to you on making yours and Thanks for sharing it here on this Forum.

No, I'm not making face masks but there are a lot of videos on YouTube that shows you how to make one without any sewing needed.  Good luck to you and your daughter in keeping up with all your orders.

Not me, I just go to a store and buy a face mask and that's it.

I have made facemasks for my family and a few friends.
I have a number of masks cut out ready to sew on my next day off work.

I haven't made any face masks since my parents sent me a few. If I didn't have any I'd start using a scarf again.

I never thought of making a face mask but I'll keep that in mind when I go out because I haven't bought one and for all I know, it'll be just as effective as some of the expensive ones I see online.

No but I wish I had that talent.  Even though you said you guys didn't know how to sew I really have no ability to do stuff like that - well good job you guys !  It is certainly needed.
