Kelly Preston (John Travolta wife) died from breast cancer.  She was 57. RIP

I saw this online this morning; sorry to hear that apprently she and her family fought her battle in private; condolences to  the family.

Very Sad, indeed.  I wonder if she even sought conventional treatment being she was a member of the Church of Scientology & they tend to avoid treatments with pharmaceuticals... tragic, regardless.

Yes, I saw an article where John Travolta thanked MD Anderson Cancer Center and their doctors and nurses who treated her.

So sad!!  I've also lost friends who were much too young to be taken from us from Cancer.  Kelly and John really seemed like a nice couple.  I can't imagine the heartbreak that John is going thru now.

I did not know she had breast cancer & ill. Big shock! I pray    for her family! I hope her get genetic testing to see if she carries the gene!

My mom did have breast cancer last July late. Did cat scan & other testing. Did a scan and showed it did Not spread anywhere in her body. By September she went in for surgery and remove both *bleep*. She did chemo for 4 months - last one in January! Now she is use meds for treatments by UCLA! Meds are free!

She also genetic testing and it runs in the family! I did took the testing - was negative!

The day before I heard this, there was a news feed that Elvis Presley's grandson died.  On Monday morning the Today Show had a Breaking News about Kelly Preston dying.

It took me a couple of seconds to wrap my head around the fact that they were not talking about 'Presley' but about 'Preston'. 

This is very sad news.  I hope the family finds peace.
