I'd probably want to wait until after a bunch of other people have had the vaccine and had no serious ill effects from it. If I could ascertain it was safe, I'd definitely take the vaccine!  :peace:

i think that I would wait on the vaccine since they have no idea if it is viable on humans until tested and a waiting period shows up any side effects.  I can say this as I am in a very low risk area and not at risk except for my age.
I took the measles, typhoid, polio and tetanu vaccines but it worries me that this one is coming on so fast.  Also, other flu vaccince have only a 3-4 month effectiveness period so pretty risky for little effect on a new one.  Plus, they still have no idea if you can catch it twice.

I would wait since I have gotten a reaction to the flu shots and can't take them

After you have symptoms it is too late for a vaccine. Same with the flu shot.

    Fingers crossed!!!

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/science/coronavirus-vaccine-tracker.html

Researchers around the world are developing more than 165 vaccines against the coronavirus, and 27 vaccines are in human trials. Vaccines typically require years of research and testing before reaching the clinic, but scientists are racing to produce a safe and effective vaccine by next year.

When this is released, I am certain everyone will feel confident enough to get the vaccine and remain uninfected!

Not on your life!!  My family and I would definitely NOT take a vaccine.  Especially not for a virus that has about a 98% chance of recovery.

I would when enough other people have taken it and it is effective. I want my life to have some normalcy again at some point.

This right here. People seem to focus more on the death toll than those that have recovered where , statistically, you are more likely to recover from it than die. Now this isn't to say that ones safety shouldn't be regarded but if it was available tomorrow, lets not pretend this novel vaccine is necessarily a cure all. I mean, people have died from receiving vaccinations.

Not anytime soon. I read about some people's experiences in the testing phase. The vaccine has caused side effects severe enough to warrant a hospital visit. They were chosen because they were least likely to have adverse reactions, so I don't think it's ready for the average population with existing health issues. This was only one company's vaccine though, so I'm not sure if others are having similar results.
