I would definitely call first before going to see someone. I do not like it when people just show up to my place. I am also most likely not to go to see someone unless I was invited.

Always call first. If you're planning on just showing up, then call as you're going there. Give them a chance!  :icon_rr:

Visit what?  It is not a good time to just show up at somebody's house.  Unless it was close family I don't think I have ever just shown up at somebody's house.  I know some people like to do that.  Then they get upset when the person inside doesn't open the door. lol

With the Pandemic on a rampage, I would NEVER just show up anywhere. That should be a no-brainer.

The only person I visit now is my daughter and that is usually because we have decided to go somewhere and I am there to pick her up.

We call first,we find it rude when people just show up when they know we're busy with our own lives and just expect us to feed them and give them a place to stay when we have to go shopping first and the spare bedroom is not ready yet.
