Housing market

The housing market seems crazy right now and has been so for the past year or so...I wonder if it's going to change due to COVID restrictions being lifted and inflation

Around here there are several house started and just sitting waiting to get windows.

You are right, the market is crazy.  Our town is having the same problem.

People are paying ridiculously high prices, some double or triple, for homes in my area. Some of these homes would be considered demolition properties in other towns. That's crazy. Others are brand new development areas and the homes start at $200K. That's outrageous for this area, which is made up of no jobs and lot of senior citizens. I guess it's due to the Interstates that people are coming to this area . In the '60s, a teacher of mine had taught us that this area would become a bedroom community if they ever built an interstate highway here. He was right!

I wish they go down soon, I need to buy a house but cannot afford one right now.
