Roe v. Wade overturned?
« on: May 03, 2022, 04:03:26 am »
Breaking news... A draft of the Supreme Court majority opinion, which is not yet official, was leaked overnight. Cue the riots and the Karen craziness.

How do YOU feel about this one Donnamarg323? The TRUMP appointed Justices made this happen. Let that fact sink in and let us know what you think. No talk about 1/6. No talk about 2020 COVID. No talk about how Donald Trump is equivalent to Charles Manson. Let's talk about the babies that Donald Trump's SCOTUS appointees are going to SAVE... Can't do it, can you?

Because you have Trump to thank for the SCOTUS majority that overturns Roe, but you won't give him any credit for it. Didn't ask how you feel about abortion, I asked how you felt about your hated Trump doing something positive about it.

Your Judas reference is off point.

I didnt see you thanking Biden for ending a war that he didnt start.

The Judas reference is dead on.

Beware when you think you are standing you just might fall says the bible.1st Corint 10:12

Perfect comparision to the 2 of them.

Your bible study needs work.

Because he did no such thing.

Your bible study needs work.
Nah.  I'm good. But thanks for thinking of me.

The Judas reference is dead on.
So let me see if I have this straight. Trump appointed SCOTUS Justices who in turn have exposed the Roe v. Wade decision for what it is - total crap logic (EVEN Ruth Bader Ginsburg, champion of abortion rights, said so about the way Roe v. Wade was decided before she died). So Trump SCOTUS overturning one of the most poorly written and decided cases ever to come through the Supreme Court, possibly eclipsed only by the Dred Scott decision - is the same thing as Judas selling Jesus for 30 pieces of silver?

How in any logic good, bad, or insane does that comparison hold any water.

No sir. I think your bible study needs some work if you think that Trump's SCOTUS appointees are the modern equivalent of Judas. So I will close by just re-quoting myself.

Your accurate bible study should have taught you Judas was appointed an apostle of Jesus at first before he betrayed him.

Trump was elected president and triumphant at first till 2020 and 1/6/21 happened. The only thing missing here is Trump hasnt committed suicide yet.

Just what DO you learn with your bible study?

Well you are messing up your metaphors then. You talked about Judas being appointed in response to me talking about the SCOTUS justices appointed by Trump. Naturally I assumed you were talking about justices being akin to Judas - with both being appointed (why else would you even raise the appointment similarity being part of both relationships?) THAT is the apparent and obvious connection that stands out in MY interpretation and reading of your initial metaphor.
The TRUMP appointed Justices made this happen.
Lemme remind you Judas was appointed an apostle to Jesus. How did he turn out?

Now you are saying Trump (who as you yourself admit was elected, not appointed) is the one you were comparing to Judas. (You see where the interpretation breaks down, right?) == So just to be clear, I was operating under the assumption that you were connecting the fact that both Judas and Justices were the appointed ones. My bad if my mistake.

The Trump = Judas argument is one I'm not going to bother addressing because it obviously wouldn't make a difference anyway. He's Judas. He's Charlie Manson. He's Hitler. He's every other evil (including Satan) that has ever existed.  ::)

Just what DO you learn with your bible study?

I won't deeply answer the last question there because I know it was only mockingly said in jest. I learn plenty. A lot of personal sharing and reflection and enlightenment. I like to think that I learn much more in being able to express my opinions and ask questions for further clarification, unlike living bound by the shackles that are put on you and your fellow JW friends who just learn the script that you are instructed to repeat and are never allowed to consider outside sources.

I know who Judas was and what he did after the Last Supper. I just didn't see any connection between him and the modern Supreme Court - which in all honesty is the comparison that it seemed you were making.

So anyway...
Aside from Donnamarg323 and going further down the "Trump is evil incarnate" rabbit hole. What opinions do others have about the Roe v. Wade news?

The idea that this is anything other than just/right/correct is crazy to me. This doesn't make all abortion immediately illegal like so many want us to believe. It would simply return that question back to the individual states to decide, reasoning that this form of murder is not a constitutionally protected right.

The fact that someone with political motivations illegally leaked this draft opinion before the SCOTUS had everything worked out and finalized is the most despicable and absolutely deplorable result here.

Thoughts?

I think you understand NOW UGP what i meant comparing Judas to Trump,NOT the justices.

The triumphant in the beginning, the losing in the end.Even his VP Pence said he was wrong.Pride is before a crash says the bible.

I dont expect as i said any of Trumps supporters to agree with me on any of these comparisions.

Manson brainwashed his followers that they committed murder.Trump has brainwashed his followers to the point on 1/6/21 people died.

He shows NO sign to accepting his defeat.I wonder how many more have to die with his influence.

JWs bound by shackles?LOL!!!!

Cos Xmas is pagan?Cos Birthdays were influenced by the occult?Cos we dont vote or salute the flag?Their stance on blood?
Cos they memorialize Jesus death and obey his command to ?Cos they remove the wicked ones from among themselves when members or clergy misbehave NOT like Christendom?Cos they have shown using Gods word how Christendom supports false doctrines like the trinity, worship of images, immortal soul on man,hell/purgatory theory?

I assure you the 9 million worldwide association of ALL people and races want to live forever and enjoy life in a paradisic earth or the 144000 have a heavenly hope and LOVE Jehovah and Jesus for what they did to correct the rebellion in Eden from A&E and Satan, was the greatest act of love ever done.

Much of Christendom doesnt even use or know Gods name. That shows how can they say they love a nameless god?Oh they do.Its Satan who is also a god of this world.

The beginning of wisdom is the fear of Jehovah.

I am thrilled and I am so tired of the Dems lying about what would happen if Roe was overturned. I think whoever leaked that OPINION piece needs to be found and prosecuted. Those protesting at the Court and in front of the Justices houses are breaking the law and they should be gathered up and prosecuted.  The Dems agitated the pro-lifers into believing items that were not true. The Dems did this so they could make "points" but left out the facts of what would happen if it was overturned. In the WHPA is also the statement that women had the choice of abortion up to the DAY of BIRTH. That's where it crossed the line. They were giving approval for murder.

When you think about it, when a pregnant woman is murdered, the murderer is charged with 2 counts of murder, not one.....but when a woman aborts a living baby in the womb or on the day of birth, there is no consequences. Another double standard.

Like guns,inflation,wars,crime,famine,natural disasters,need i go on?

19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.1st John 5:19

JWs proudly emphasis and teach that scripture worldwide cos they know many with the right heart condition wanna know why.

Try memorizing it all.Satan is behind much of the suffering.

Stop 100%?  No.

Save a few lives? You bet!

Do you really want to make the argument that those few lives that it would save don't matter?

There's that inspirational story about the little boy throwing starfish washed up onto the beach back into the ocean... I think the moral of that story applies appropriately here.

I actually agree with you.I just think the post was made more to give Trump some kudos.I know it will NEVER come down to where abortions will be fully gone in this Satanic system.Keep holding fast to a system thats doomed!

You didnt seem to care RE the lives would be saved when Biden stpped the war. What about the few that died on 1/6?

Why dont we stop making sugar and think how many we could save NOT getting diabetes.

Why dont we make guns that hold only 5 bullets instead of 6?That extra bullet might cost a few lives.
