Shocked
« on: October 11, 2022, 12:49:16 pm »
I am shocked when I get a survey that only gives me two choices for my gender when I expect to choose from multiple answers.  :o

Anyone else either shocked or disgruntled at that lack of choice?  :silly:

The only time I get shocked like that is when they have several choices for my highest level of education and an Associate Degree is not one of them. I worked hard and put in overtime to keep my family supplied, so it was not easy to reach that degree. It burns my butt when I have to put down that my highest degree was a High School Diploma.

I do not like it when a Survey asks for your age. I put it on there anyway so I can do the Survey.

I am shocked when I am asked about my race. I have never participated in a foot race or marathon of any kind, how am I supposed to answer that?

I get a little upset with the education questions when they only have college degrees above high school. I went to a specific tech school and earned my certificate/degree. When working for a company years later, I went to Vo-Tech night school and earned certificates in another style of programming, and another one in accounting, yet most surveys don't have those options in the education group.

Hey, fluffyubnny937, that was pretty funny. I'm hoping you were trying to be funny. If you were, good work!

Dont like when they ask your income or age. One surveys had age 100 or older. If i live to be 100 for sure wont be doing surveys.

Hey, sfreeman8 and oldbuddy. I am sorry they don't have designations for your degrees that you worked so hard for. That is definitely not fair.

However, for whatever it's worth, I think both of you are pretty darn smart. So, oldbuddy, don't let it burn your butt too badly, and sfreeman8, don't let it get you too upset.

Also, college degrees are a waste of time. I went back to school very late in life and it didn't help me get a job or make more money in a job and I graduated c-u-m laude.  :confused1: The censors bleeped c-u-m. Do you suppose they have a college degree??  :silly:

Just want to say sfreeman8 that you're probably one of the smartest in the group. My girlfriend confided that she was jealous I had a bachelor's degree and I told her that she's ten times smarter than I could ever hope to be.

A college degree is not necessary in many cases. Plus it's a total financial ripoff for many people who, as I did, fall for the old mantra that said you earn so much more with a degree. I would much rather be a person like you who deals in real world vocations. Congrats on all that valuable training!  :star:

The following is a quote from old buddy:

"The only time I get shocked like that is when they have several choices for my highest level of education and an Associate Degree is not one of them. I worked hard and put in overtime to keep my family supplied, so it was not easy to reach that degree. It burns my butt when I have to put down that my highest degree was a High School Diploma."

So, old buddy, I'll give you a similar answer to what I gave to sfreeman8. You are obviously a very intelligent man and one whose advice lots of people listen to. Degrees are pieces of paper that cost lots of time and money. Real world experiences can be much more valuable. So keep your butt cool and calm; okay?

And if you can't keep your butt cool and calm on your own, I'm sure one of these newbies has a link to a site with a product that can assist you.

That is strange, I see a selection for technical training a lot.

I just now got another survey that only gave a choice between male and female. Makes me miss the old non-binary. Not to mention all the other choices we can make believe in.

I hope that I never see any choices for furries and such.  :monkey: Pulleeze!

Why would being 100 preclude you from doing surveys? Are you going to become independently wealthy before your centennial celebration of life?  :monkey:

I intend to die at my computer doing surveys unless I suddenly become wealthy.  :present:

Just kidding. I suppose we might not give a good goddam 'bout surveys if we live to be 100.  :-\

RE the TRUE God there is NO Good Goddam.

The bible says God tried no one with evil.

But Jesus also said there are many gods but only 1 God the father.Father means life-giver.IOW Jesus said the God he was referring to <Jehovah>was the only God to create life.
