What's a good winter outfit? I need something to keep me warm, but it has to look good to.

The best winter outfits are the ones that are warm or maybe something that can be layered in case the weather warms up some.  Good thick socks and heavy boots also help.

Warm outerwear this winter is not limited to color and texture because both body-hugging styles and loose models of jackets and coats are in trend. I've read on one of the fashion blogs that loose-fit, bright-colored parkas are popular this season, but to be honest, I'll wear my usual down coat. It's body-hugging and has nice padding. I feel warm and cozy wearing it.
As for the bottoms, during winter, I usually prefer mom jeans - they're roomy, hug you in the right places, and if you know how to pair them with tops and shoes - you'll have a week-worth of outfits with just one pair of jeans. You should definitely try them, and in case you need inspiration for winter outfits, check out this article on what to wear with mom jeans. I wear them with bulky sweaters and UGGS.

I am 81 years old and I have warm long sleeve tops.  I wear my large sweater or my big coat when I get out and go places.  Since the covid virus has been around I just go the the beauty shop and the hair dresser and I are the only ones there.  I order my grocreys online and then go to walmart and they bring them out to my car.  About 4 or 5 months ago I went to Sams and went in to shop and caught the covid and I was sick for 3 weeks and had to go in the hospital and stayed a couple of day and had to have 4 bags of IV and magniiam was added to it too.  So I do not get out among other people.  My son and his family are coming for Thanksgiving but they don't have the covid virus.  I hope everyone has a blessed Thanksgiving.
