Rice Krispies Treats
« on: November 03, 2009, 07:26:52 pm »
For those of you who haven't already mastered this one:

2/3 cup of butter
1 10 oz package (about 40) large marshmallows or 4 cups of miniature marshmallows
6 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal

First, melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Then add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Next, remove from heat. Then, stir in cereal until well coated. Finally, press mixture into buttered 13x9x2-inch baking dish and cut into squares.
Enjoy!

OMG! I love these!!! I also add things like little candies/gummy bears as well as make them with different types of cereal.

 I tried making them a long time ago but now I get them already made. To me they taste just as good and no mess to clean up.

I mastered not ever putting chocolate chips in them, ughh, it turned out terrible. but I love them plain,
I have tried them with the white chocolate and that is good. I am done with baking for a long time, after this weekend, I just now got the kitchen clean after every kind of cupcake, lemonbar, jello salad, thumbprint cookie, done for a while.
