i have long hair.  i can fix it any way i want to or i can just put it in a ponytail, no hassle.  it can be a pain in the butt to get all the rats nest out in the morning, but a good creme rinse helps with that.

On me, a hetero male, I prefer wearing long hair, then, I discovered that most women don't seem to care if a mans hair is long or short. So, I shaved it off. Now I'm growing it back now. It takes me a long time to grow it out.
On women, I prefer long, long, long hair. If you have got it, don't cut it! I takes too long to grow. I love a women, and a particular woman with very long hair. GROW!

Due to some Spiritual traditions, which I wont elaborate on here, I wear my hair long as a rule.

There are some situations that dictate cutting of the hair but as a rule we do not.

Differing styles sometimes have different meanings in my culture as well such as whether one is single or attached etc, just as having the hair tied back as opposed to loose has significant meaning.

I have had long hair all my life until i met my husband, he prefers short hair so i cut it to see if i would like it and the only thing i liked is that it was easy to manage and used less hair products like shampoo and conditioner but i myself prefer long hair.

i have short hair now but i love my long hair. i cut a while back when i was working as a server at Applebees and it is just taking forver to grow back out. since this is a hair subject does anyone knw of a good vitamin that i can get to help hair growing. someone told me b12 but just not sure
