How can ADAS calibration improve driving safety and accuracy?
« on: October 07, 2025, 09:07:54 am »
The other day, I was driving back from a trip, and my lane departure warning kept going off even when I was centered in the lane. It was super annoying at first, but then I realized it might be more than just a random glitch. My car had a minor fender bender a few weeks ago, and someone mentioned that even a small impact can mess with the sensors. I started wondering how much ADAS calibration actually affects safety and whether it’s really that important to redo it after every repair. Anyone had experience with this?

"Yeah, that sounds exactly like what happened to me after I replaced my windshield. My adaptive cruise control and lane assist started acting up, and I learned that those systems need recalibration every time the sensors are disturbed. When my mechanic noticed some weird Car smoking after a repair, I decided to get a full checkup including ADAS calibration at a shop that does car repair in Bristol PA. They explained how calibration ensures the cameras and sensors are perfectly aligned so the systems can react properly. Since then, my car feels way more stable, and the warnings make sense again instead of just beeping randomly.
