Arc Raiders' update prevents you from going out of bounds or getting shot through walls. But players are still frustrated that Embark hasn't fixed a bug in the progression system "that's been in the game since its launch".


 Embark Studios just released the latest arc raiders trading Update, which fixes a bug pushing players out of bounds as well as other annoying issues. Even though this update is worth it, some players find that the problem with their progress is still there.


 


 Arc Raiders' new patch fixes an exploit that allowed people to glitch off the map in Stella Noctis by using the zipline. The fix is as simple as removing the offending device. The new Arc Raiders patch also fixes a bug that allowed players to fall through a Blue Gate wall and a problem where they were shot through the walls of Spaceport Launch Tower.


 


 Embark has made some good and helpful fixes. However, the community still wants Embark to address another issue. Reddit commenter: "It's great to see the fixes, but I feel bad for those who still have a bugged expedition progress." Another commenter on Reddit said, "It's crazy that the bug hasn’t been fixed yet. Even if it means to reset your progress."


 


 Some maps have players stuck at the beginning of progression, regardless of how many matches they've played. "They still haven't fixed the expedition progression bug. "It's been there since launch," says another Redditor. They're stuck on stage two of The Spaceport.


 


 In the patch, Embark mentions that a larger update will be released on December 17. The studio says, "We're getting ready for a much bigger Cold Snap update that will be coming on Tuesday. It will include many fixes and new goodies we have worked on."


 


 This will hopefully give everyone the gift to progress properly. At least, you won't have to beam through concrete in any of the maps.


 


 Although they may be powerful, timed explosives won't do much to help against players


 


 Heavy Fuze Grenades are a great way to throw explosives at arc robots, as they have no self-preservation instinct. Remember to aim at the direction they are going, taking into account movement and detonation delay. It's different for players who are better at evasion. In this case, the best way to use slow explosives is to use them as a means of flushing people from cover. Light Impact, Snap Blast Grenades or strategically placed mines are better for causing real damage to human threats.


 


 Team games have a very different culture than solo matches


 


 Despite not being officially or guaranteed by Arc Raiders, the community generally recognises that solo games are more peaceful and passive. In solo games players are more likely to ignore one another, work together, and treat the entire server as a single team. In team matches, it is much more aggressive. It's not that teams cannot join together. But there is a much greater risk of violence and the community has decided to make it a deathmatch.
