How to choose the right water dispenser for an office
« on: January 19, 2026, 10:37:43 am »
Hi everyone, we’re currently reviewing the drinking water setup in our office and I could use some advice. As the team has grown, our current solution doesn’t really keep up with daily demand anymore. Sometimes the water runs out quickly, and the placement of the dispenser isn’t very convenient for everyone. We’re also trying to decide whether a bottle-fed system still makes sense or if something connected to the mains would be better. Hygiene and ease of maintenance are important, especially since many people use the same unit throughout the day. Space is another factor, as the kitchen area isn’t very large. If anyone has recently gone through a similar decision, I’d be interested to hear what you focused on.

We went through this process not long ago, and what helped was breaking it down into practical factors. Looking into an office water dispenser really means thinking about how many people will use it each day and where it will be placed. Bottle-fed systems can work, but they require regular deliveries and storage space for spare bottles. Mains-fed dispensers remove that issue, as they’re connected directly to the water supply. Maintenance and cleaning routines also make a big difference in shared environments. Once we looked at usage, space, and servicing needs together, the choice became much clearer.

Choosing a water dispenser is a common task for offices as teams expand or layouts change. Different systems suit different environments, depending on usage levels and available space. Thinking ahead about maintenance and hygiene can prevent issues later on. Placement also affects how often the dispenser is actually used during the day. These discussions usually highlight the need to match the equipment to real working conditions. In the end, a well-chosen solution supports everyday routines without drawing attention to itself.
