Off-Topic / Re: daughter has osteoarthritis
« on: April 17, 2015, 01:44:21 pm »Message ID: 975141
Our 37 year old daughter just found out she has osteoarthritis in her lower back.  It is causing her such pain that she can barely walk.  She's had minor back issues for a good many years but this has hit her like a ton of bricks.  The unbearable pain just hit all at once and is affecting her ability to work; not sure how much longer her employer will put up with her missing so much work.  The spine and neck specialist she is seeing is doing some procedures to determine what can be done and he believes burning the nerve-endings in her lower back will give her maybe a years' relief.  Just wondering if anyone here has had these kind of issues and what was done to relieve the pain.  Appreciate any info.
I have the same problem and others back issues as well.  I have been dealing with this since 1998 and I take all kinds of medications and back treatments and none of them take it all away I still deal with pain everyday and some days are worse than others.  I recomend that she get Medicaid Disability which isn't hard and start going to a specialist like nerology or pain managment and start her disbilility right away I have been fighting for it for 14 years and I am now 43  but didn't quit working until 2008 the best thing her employer can do is fire her so she can get her disability.  I didn't do that so I am still waiting if you want to talk more get a hold of me at live.com my nickname is tweety072871 I would like to help you through this and give my exsperiences.

I have not been on for a while I didn't even notice that service was no longer available to us.  That does stink though especially for the people who use it.  Maybe they will bring it back but who knows maybe they are going to try something new in the future.

I have a landline phone I can't always afford minutes on a cell phone.  I get a discount on my house phone, there are several other discounts such as Food Stamps, Medicaid, or any kind of Social Security. So it makes my bill about $ 12.00

I think it up to each individual and couples.  I have one grown son but I wanted to have a child with my husband and we have to been able to have one.  My son was an xboyfriend and so we have been married this October for 14 years and we have not been able to get pregnant and have a child and I am going to be 44 and he is going to be 41 so I think its getting pretty close to say that we should stop trying.

Off-Topic / Re: Do you like going to the dentist?

I hate going to the dentist but now I don't have to except when I need my dentures adjusted.  It was very painful to have  all my teeth removed but the everyday pain was worse so I am glad I got it done.

well its a product that is most likely not on the market so you would be testing it and depending on what it is you would have to decide if you want to or not and like someone else said Google the product.

Off-Topic / Re: What would you do with $100

I know if I earned a $100.00 today I would go get mus some groceries because we are just about out and I don't get my food stamps until the 12th of the month and we are out of meat I have veggies and Rice a Roni but meat so that would be nice.  I don't have an income but my husband gets SSI but that is really for just one person.  We didn't even get to go out for our anniversary last October, so hopefully we will this year.

Passed my final tonight and after all the long hours and testing... my hard work and determination paid off! I am now a certified First Year Tax Pro and will be working for H&R Block for tax season 2015! I am so excited and anxious but can't wait to get started!! :)
Congratulations I went back to college and Got my Associates Degree in Accounting and I do taxes for those who are struggling or elderly or disabled for what ever that want to give me. I have about 10 people I do taxes for and it feels good to give to the community but about half are family but the other half is not.

No, but sometimes you have good months  it all depends on video's and surveys and the offers you choose to do, but with a combination with this site and another site I have learned I can make a $100 a month if I would just do it everyday it only takes about an hour for me sometimes because my computers sometimes don't want to work but I try to stay strong and work on it everyday.

I realize we need to know whats going on in the world today but I agree we ever hardly hear of the good things that go on I would like, I mean people are already depressed why make it worse.  Give us some good new to look forward to and share everything not just the bad and tragic things but real life good things.

I love eggnog.  But I have not had any for over 13 years it is just to expensive.  I can't believe how high it has been.  Its a shame I would love to have some eggnog and I don't understand why they only sell it this time of year if it was cheaper I would drink it all year round.
