wow, that's a lot of people that didn't notice the date of the topic.

Still, after having read through zonefit's posts, I wonder how the drama resolved.  His seven posts were a lot of anger and accusations, then silence, then 'hey dudes, when is my moneys coming?'
I need closure.

Unless my search skills are just inferior, the thread referred to above seems to have disappeared.  I hadn't noticed that manual credit was done away with, and am very disappointed in this as well.  It really sucks to have no recourse for a non-paying offer that I had to put money out for.

It's been a little over 12 hours for me, and i haven't been paid yet either.
Makes me nervous because this is the first one I've actually paid to do.  I'm really hoping they make good, or i just may never be able to trust anyone again  :sad1:

with the economy so assed up, how can anyone THINK about putting a democrat in the white house?

this just blows my mind.

LOOK people..... BUSINESS drives the economy... sure there are several factors involved in determining economic health.... but the BOTTOMLINE.... IS THE BOTTOMLINE.

It's easy to consider putting a Democrat in the white house when we consider the very recent past.  It's a point that's been trod over again and again, but our best recent economic years were with (D) Bill Clinton in the office when we were running surpluses.  (R) GW Bush almost immediately took us into recession.  Personally, I don't think (D) Al Gore would've prevented recession either, though it's arguable Bush's policies got us there quicker and let us sink longer, but it's a simple connection in many people's lives.  Last two decades in the USA: Democrat in office=good economy, Republican/Bushes in office=multiple recessions

so, while the price of gas continues to go up.... as prices on everything GOES UP...... and wages are not...

Gas going up in price is directly related to the Iraq War (a world leading economist recently put it as costing the USA about $3,000,000,000,000) as well as the weakening of the US Dollar.  Under the republican government the dollar has been plummeting.  Thanks to America's resourceful capitalism (yes, I'm actually talking about Wal-Mart and the like) inflation on consumer goods didn't mirror this as their were able to reduce costs and even increase profit margins in many cases.  Gas, however, has not been exempt.  The foreign bought gasoline continues to rise in price as the dollar sinks and the oil companies with their de facto monopolies post record profits quarter after quarter.

Fun Facts:
-while BP was making ungodly earnings, they also burst a pipeline in Alaska, hurt the local environment there, and reacted by closing down numerous gas stations across the country to save some money, meaning many people lost their job.
-Check Bush's energy bills from 2001-2006 -- curious why these oil companies needed tax breaks and subsidies?
-The weak US$ literally cost me thousands over the last four years as I worked in the USA during the summers and spent it in the spring and fall attending university in the UK

just who do yall think will pay for these "feel good", socialist-based, programs the democrats are famous for?

Pelosi's Democrat controlled Congress has been adamant about returning to the pay-as-you-go model.  Anytime they approve an increase in spending for anything, they must cut it from somewhere else to pay for it.  Yes, they even did it for the asinine $140,000,000,000-$160,000,000,000 in rebates we'll be receiving in a couple of months. (of course I'm still going to use mine, but it's really just a bad idea giving us this money)

when hillarys over $100 billion health care program was talked about a couple months ago.... they said "the program will cost the GOVERNMENT....."

sounds like a good reason not to support Hillary, since there are two Democrats in the race.
Of course, many republicans don't see it that way.  Talking (R) heads Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter have both endorsed Hillary.  There are said to have been thousands of voters who crossed over in the recent Texas and Ohio primaries to vote for her as well.

Offers / Re: FastWeb Scholarships anyone get credited for this?

I didn't get credited, but I sure did get a bunch of emails from them after registering about all their great scholarships.
Seems they haven't credit for loads of people here.
I'm pretty bummed about them and York Photo Labs not crediting.  That's $5 and $6 respectively.  :angry7:

not to mention fastweb scholarships.which I had a genuine interest in and now think may be a scam, and york photo labs........

Same here.

I actually only have one semester left on my undergraduate degree, but was thinking about looking for some scholarships there that might allow be to pursue a graduate degree.  I was actually going to use York Photolabs to have some digital photos from my travels printed as well since they are cheaper than any store.  But if I'm already kinda getting cheated by them in our first interaction, that's not going to bode well for the future, and those aren't places I want to profit from me.
I'm kinda easy that way that my loyalty can be purchased for the low price of $5 or $6, but I don't appreciate being misled.

this would've been a great topic to read before going out and seeing for myself how so many of these don't pay out.  I didn't get the expected 'instant credit' from a lot of the same companies.
FastWebs Scholarships really stands out for me mostly because i was salivating at that $5, and I know i went all the way through and even did the confirmation email.
The same with York Photo Labs and their $6
It's quite dissappointing.   :'(
There have been a number of these small offers that don't work for me as well (or at least haven't been 'instant' within the last few hours), such as the $500 macy's gift card, my select gifts, phonehog, $1500 ebay shopping spree, and Free iPhone (this one said all i needed to do for the money was enter my zip code, I did that and was told Ohio residents don't qualify, could they be misleading those who won't qualify)
Also, all the "Party with 'random minor celebrity'" seem faulty. It's an easy assumption that all those are from the same company, so I don't know why the one would be taken down for its low conversion rate and many more allowed onboard.

it never rang when i put in my cell phone either.  (Virgin Mobile service)

I put in my landline and it rang, actually when the countdown was at, like, three seconds.  The first time i entered the code heard it start to say it was good and hung up, but it didn't appear to go through.  After checking again a few times, it still hadn't verified, so I did the process again before it finally did it.  I thought after I had done email and phone verification i might get the $5 sign-up bonus as well, but that's still missing  :confused1:

So, I guess try another number, and try a few times.
