Off-Topic / I LOST MY NEW IPHONE GS
« on: March 27, 2010, 09:50:22 am »Message ID: 154876
I purchased my new Iphone from AT&T and renewed my 2 year contract with them about three weeks ago. I went to lunch on Thursday and forgot it at the restaurant. I came back about an hour later and it wasn't there. The owner of the restaurant was cleaning the table when we were leaving. He told me he didn't see any Iphone laying around.
I am so sad right now...I can't purchase a new phone because it's new. It would cost $600 to buy another one. I'm so sad...

Payments / Settling for the sort of right guy
« on: February 13, 2010, 11:28:16 pm »Message ID: 139313
I was watching a talk show with this topic today. It's funny because women tend to blame most relationship problems on men but the truth is that women are much more difficult. In the show, they interviewed single people and men listed three criteria for women they would while women listed over hundreds of things. They go on about how women are looking for perfection and forgeting the important things. Most small things are so particular that there aren't any room left foranything to work.
Is this true? Are women just more difficult than men? Do we put too much expectation on the guys ladies?

Off-Topic / Does anyone get unwanted charges on their phone bill?
« on: February 08, 2010, 09:22:53 pm »Message ID: 138184
Today I opened up my combined bill with ATT and discovered there were two new charges totalling $30 for some unknown reason. I"m not sure why it was on there but it was a long distance company (which I have wireless service for already) and a billing service company. Now, this really frustrate me that they can just send me a bill and ATT would charge me that. I paid for it to avoid the disconnect but I am disputing it with my credit card company to get the overcharges back ($30). Now, I feel that I have watch all the bills...My family tells me it's because i'm online doing survey and giving away my information. They say the information is used to do these types of things. I'm a little paranoid now.  :confused1:

Off-Topic / Do you think that there are to many off-topic?
« on: February 08, 2010, 12:01:07 pm »Message ID: 138078
I really enjoy the online experience here at Fusion Cash. The forum is very interesting to be a part of, but there are too many different topics here. Some of them are very...well not nice to say so I won't say it. Can we just eliminate the non-sense and contribute to the more interesting topics? Some of the topics are somewhat offensive to certain members. I commented on one occasion that we can just ignore these types of posting, but I find myself wasting time skipping through these posts to get to the decent ones.
Does anyone feel this way?

Off-Topic / Why are some of the well off people more greedy?
« on: February 06, 2010, 10:18:26 pm »Message ID: 137587
It never seem to amaze me that some off the well off people are more greedy than the ones in deprivation. They make close to 100K, they live in an oversized home and they have rentals. They drive luxury cars and often talk down on people who drive lower model cars. They speak of money as though it everything and make others feel less for not having what they have.
And yet, these are the most greedy people because they don't want to pay for anything. I brag about over spending on things and never offer to pay for anything. They have no sense of courtesy and ask for things from others.
I can't stand these type of people! They take and take but never give back.

Off-Topic / Work Drama
« on: February 03, 2010, 09:00:08 pm »Message ID: 136681
Do you some time feel that your work place is twisting policy and procedures? After working for my company for 8 years, I've realized that I may be the only one that cares about the rules and regulations. We spend hours and hours in training so we can learn about the new pocedures and everything is flushed down the toilet in the office. It's frustrating to feel like this when I'm at work so it's got me drained. I feel negative at work and it's not going so well. It's hard to not bring work home when everyday I get to work and I'm reminded of the people in conspiracy to milk the system.
What are some of your frustrations at your job?

Off-Topic / Problem with Post Office
« on: January 12, 2010, 11:05:24 pm »Message ID: 129259
I have to say that my life has been a complete nightmare dealing with the post office. I have been waiting for certain items since October 2009 and until this day....nothing. I have confirmed that the mail sent to my address was returned to sender with note that I have moved and left no forwarding address. What's worse is the fact that I've been to the office and spoke with a few different people along with filing an online complaint for the local office assigned for my home. The main 800 number will be answered by a nice sounding representative. I got the impression that the person was not too thrill to listen to story after I started to explain my problem to her. She sounded irritable and impatient. Then, she told me " there's really nothing we can do for you here expect send the message to the location that is incharge of delivering the mail. I finally had to tell her that I speak Engish and I do understand what she had said in regards to the message being routed to the local office. She asked me, "well, so do you want to still file the note or not?"
I called the local office and spoke with a Manager and explained to him that I already came in at least three different occassions and it's has been over two months. He basically took down my name and address and said to me, "okay I'll talk to the delivery person." And that was it...I don't if someone will call me back in 48 hours to tell me that they solved the problem (as stated on their website). I hope they fix the problem for me, please.
There is really nothing you can do with the post office messing up? Shouldn't someone be held accountable for this mess up regardless of whether they are Federal employees or not? It is so fustrating to deal with people that cannot provide service yet are paid the top salary.

Off-Topic / Traffic
« on: January 05, 2010, 10:41:23 pm »Message ID: 126676
I went off to lunch and then to the bank to do run errands. I took the same road I always take to get to the bank. Today was different, but there were so many cars on the road. I even had to stop entirely to let a delivery man from Sysco Co. deliver his boxes to the businesses on the Miracle Mile Road. At first, I was annoyed as I'm used to making no stops, getting through the road with no traffic. And then the light bulb came on several minutes later. Our downtown area is growing. We've been through such a bad time that I was used to flying through the empty street downtown. Now that there are delivery trucks and people driving around, the economy is definitely getting better.
Sometimes the negative feelings that we get can also be perceived another way. We take for granted each day because nothing is happening. Many times changes is the light to the otherside of the dark and scary tunnel.
Tell me about your moment of insight.
