How many hours a day do you work from home? and do you keep some kind of schedule to stay "sain" or organized?

Those who do not work from home- have you tried in the past or are you currently working on making money from home?

Offers / free trial: double day book club
« on: January 07, 2010, 02:54:09 pm »Message ID: 127306
Anyone do this offer in full or just the free trial part of it?

I have fully read it and enjoy reading new books. I also have purchased books for about the same price in the past - the offer is a good deal but I am always worried about the difficultness in regards to canceling a membership, if needed.
Thanks for thoughts!
In addition, are there any free trial or other offers that you felt were "worth it"?

As stated in subject... what offers did you complete today.
Was it an instant approval or no? If instant... did you get credit yet.

If you are an avid coupon user, do you have any tips?

Unemployment.
If you were let go would you file for unemployment?
How do you feel about unemployment?

I was just added to the "let go" club and was wondering about this. I would have never thought about it but my boss (er, um, ex boss) told me to file. Thoughts please.

Off-Topic / What is the weather like where you are?
« on: January 01, 2010, 07:24:34 pm »Message ID: 125292
My family and I moved to the midwest, Oklahoma to be exact... last year around November (from California). It has been nice but not exactly the place I would like to stay forever. Especially weather wise. I have not traveled enough to know the ideal place for weather - not to hot, not to cold. I know there are many people out there that love cold weather, I am not that person.

We have been given the opportunity to move again, and I was wondering what is the weather like where you are... or if you know of an amazing place to live?
Thanks!

New years is not that far away... and the question around here has been "what are yours". I wonder if it is worth it to have one or a few.

What are your new years resolutions? Do you normally "stick to them"?
Can you believe it is almost 2010!?

Off-Topic / Christmas Traditions
« on: December 18, 2009, 07:09:58 am »Message ID: 120794
I know you guys are wonderful at providing experience and insight. So, lets talk about Christmas Traditions and maybe next year I can make my Christmas even better by enjoying some new traditions.

What are your family's Christmas Traditions??

Some of ours are:
Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast, and of course christmas dinner.
Open a gift one at a time so that we can see, appreciate and enjoy each other and the gifts.
We have one scavenger-hunt a year for one family member for a big gift. The person and hunt is different each year.

Can't wait to hear about how you spend your holiday.
