"Super Foods" You Should be Eating

An apple a day
contains anti-oxidants and flavinoids. These key ingredients can help prevent Alzheimer's and other brain diseases, cancer and diabetes.

What's your diet?

Off-Topic / Are The Job Market, Economy Getting Better?

The employment outlook was also less pessimistc. The percentage of consumer expecting more jobs in the months ahead increased to 20 percent from 14.2 percent while those anticipating fewer jobs decreased to 25.2 percent from 32.5 percent. While the confidence is still weak it seems like the worse is behind us.

Off-Topic / Ways to Propose?
« on: November 17, 2010, 11:20:09 am »Message ID: 270640
Marriage is considered to be one of the most important issues in the lives of most individuals and the hunt for the perfect partner can always be a daunting task, considering the fact that there is nothing known as the ‘perfect’ partner! So, when do you think is the right time to pop the question and how would you propose?

My husband took me to this beatiful outdoor garden  and poped the question at a scenic location, when I was least expecting. The setting was perfect with the backdrop of nature and nothing could be more romantic then being away from the noisy city.

Off-Topic / Depression? Does any onyone have or had? How are you treating yoursef or treated
« on: November 16, 2010, 08:08:16 am »Message ID: 269980
Depression involves the body, mood, and thoughts, that affects the way a person eats and sleeps, and the way one thinks about things. A depressive disorder is not the same as a passing blue mood. It is not a sign of personal weakness or a condition that can be wished away. People with a depressive disease cannot merely "pull themselves together" and get better. Without treatment, symptoms can last for weeks, months, or years. Some people say it's a spirital matter... The soul illness...
What's your opinion and how can a depressive person get better?

Thanks,

God Bless all!

Off-Topic / The economy ins't good but why does it seem impossible to me to get a job?
« on: November 12, 2010, 11:48:58 am »Message ID: 268366
I have applied for so many jobs and I haven't gotten any interviews or even phone calls so far.  I really feel lost right now. I started looking more than one month ago.
I recently graduated from an Administrative Assistant Career School and had completed 2 years of a Bachelor degree program in the same area, but didn't graduate since I move to another country.
My resume was professionally done and looks really professional although I don't have much experience in the area.
I'm also looking for part-time jobs because, I don't want to leave my 3 year old son all day at the daycare. What am I doing wrong?  :-

Off-Topic / Does anyone you know or in your family have severe coronary heart disease?
« on: November 12, 2010, 11:36:24 am »Message ID: 268360
My Father had a hearth attack 3 years ago and has  about 5 angioplasty stents on his heart. He wasn't feeling very well, so he went to the hospital and they just changed one of  his  stents.
He can not work anymore and the Doctor said that this was the last time he would do an angioplasty   surgery on my Dad. He said if he doesn't take care next time they'll have to do a Bypass Surgery and he is not really sure if that'll work for my Dad since the coronary vein is really small and complicated. He also says this vein is one of the most important to his heart.
My Dad is really depressed now, I only see him once a year since I live in another country... I was just wondering if anyone has anything to share about someone you know who had heart disease and hopefully good things and people who have recovered.
