I am currently a pregnant teen and I just want to let all the mothers and fathers on this site that you can prevent your daughter from being pregnant at a young age, or your son getting another parents daughter pregnant. The only thing you need to do is TALK! Dont be shy! Dont make it awkward either! Your kids know all about sex and why it happens, they know how to prevent it too! But at such a young age, how are you supposed to buy condoms if you dont even have a job yet?? The best thing you can do for your daughter to prevent pregnancy is to get her on birth control!! If she doesnt want to take a pill every day then theres an option of getting a shot every three months! I dont recommend getting intrauterine products because these can easily get stuck, or come out, which can really harm your daughter!! And the good thing about birth control is its not that expensive because you can get her a prescription for it! And if your on medicade you dont have to pay for anything! Now guys on the other hand, there fathers just need to make it clear to your son that he does not need to have a child! Im not saying to scare the living crap out of him, but just make sure he knows all the responsibities he will have to do after the baby is born. If you really want to make sure he doesnt want to knock a girl up, buy him condoms! Its not like you can just stop them from having sex, but atleast you can make it safe! Teen pregnancy is at its highest, and teens arent understanding how hard its going to be. It'll be harder to get an education too. I just wanted to post this so you can help stop it!!
