Off-Topic / Re: Any sports you enjoy doing?

I enjoy disk golf since almost everyone can play it with minimal skill levels.  Also Cornhole/Bean bags for the same reason or darts.

For your 2 year old I would suggest "old school" toys that foster creativity and imagination.  Large blocks they will not choke on, large piece puzzles, The old tupperware style game of putting the shapes in the holes can also help with coordination and constructive thinking skills while making it fun.  If you can handle noisy toys, get one that makes sounds when you do things the correct way so they get positive feedback and love to hear noises at that age or see things light up.

I was going to cash out right when I got to $25 dollars as well, and now know that waiting until the end of the month is best!  Thank you all!

Payments / Re: So how many of you have actually gotten money from this site?

Since I started I have gotten two checks of over $25 each in less than a year of being a member.  I should have cashed my third $25 check already, but got lazy about logging in for a while.

A friend of mine found Fusion Cash looking for work she can do online from home in her spare time.  She tried it out and then referred the site to me.

The Sony Card application approved me and said my card will be sent out.  Anyone know how long this one typically takes to get credited?  Thank you in advance for replies.

Off-Topic / Re: Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays??
« on: December 22, 2010, 09:38:01 am »Message ID: 288496
I reply Merry Christmas.  Did you know that Christmas started as a pagan holiday of Yule and the Catholic Church planned the celebration of Christ's birth to coincide with the dates of the pagan holiday around winter solstice in order to diminish the pagan celebration.  We still have yule logs and other traditions based on the original pagan holiday though.

We are going to plan a vegetarian Christmas Dinner, since my daughter is visiting and does not eat meat.  Anyone have any great sites for recipes?

Do you have to be one of the first people to respond to the contests to win a "prize" or how exactly does this work?  A basic overview of how the contests work would be great.  All feedback will be appreciated.  The simpler the explanation the better, please! Thank you!

FusionCash / Re: There is no way to get referrals!
« on: December 01, 2010, 06:59:54 am »Message ID: 278089
I had not thought about doing referrals offline by leaving them in public places like you are suggesting.  That is an awesome idea.  We have many grocery stores and colleges that have message boards of people looking for ways to earn extra income.  Thank you for the wonderful advice!

What videos are you referring to that earn you cash for watching them.  So far I have only seen offers, surveys and the daily 15 cent and email items to earn from.  Your input would be great so I can find the emails you are referring to and possibly view them myself.  Thank you for your responses in advance.

Off-Topic / Re: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT YOUR AGE?
« on: December 01, 2010, 06:54:07 am »Message ID: 278080
I am proud of the age that I am.  I almost died at age 27, so every additional year is a blessing to me.  I guess liking or not liking your age is all in your perspective on life.  If you are happy with who you are and what you have, then your age does not matter as much, but the people you get to spend your time with, and the blessings you have received and bestowed.

We got about an inch of snow so far is all.  A town less than 20 mile away received 6 inches in comparison.  I love the purity of a newly fallen snow, but do not enjoy the roads being slippery.  We usually have a white Christmas, so I presume this year will be no different.

I did not go out on Black Friday, but do follow the specials that are going on in the advertisements either online or in the newspaper.  I frequent thrift stores for bargains and items that my family and others have asked me to watch for, including neighbors and friends.  It is more fun and less crowded than retail shopping this time of year.  The challenge of finding a bargain at a thrift store is much more rewarding, in my opinion, though it may cost more in fuel if you have to travel all over town to frequent them all.
