Off-Topic / Re: What is your Favorite Color and you most Unfavorite color?

I love green and yellow. I can't really pick one colour over the other.  We used both in our wedding, and they were beautiful together.
I don't know that I have a least favourite colour.  Pink doesn't really look good on me, but I don't know that I hate the colour.

Real nails. I don't even like painting them. I'm too hard on my nails to bother with it.

I have a couple of friends doing this. If both people are super committed, then it can work, but very hard. Not something I ever wanted to have to deal with.

We had a blackeyed peas casserole. It was a new recipe, and it turned out very well.

I'm okay at the shelves, mostly because I end up moving things around otherwise. Only problem is that I found some jello and have no idea what to do with it since we don't like jello!

Our weekend was really damp and cold, so we hibernated. I cleaned out the closets though, and made up a big bag of stuff to get rid of, so I've accomplished something.

I don't know if this counts, but I bring home my husband "treats" from the grocery store a couple of times a month - a special type of cheese, brussels sprouts (his favourite), or chocolate. He loves them, and I love making him smile.

Off-Topic / Re: Bully's How do feel about it?

Having worked as an elementary school teacher for most of my adult life, bullying is something that I've come up against time and time again. I have seen so many different varieties of bullying, but they all hurt. I always feel terribly useless when confronting bullying, mostly because I am extremely limited in how I can proceed. Recently we've been dealing with a lot of cyber bullying, which is even more frustrating.

Shawarma.  It's a staple where I come from, but not available where I live now. :(

Hot dogs. There's something about a grilled hotdog. I can't stand boiled hot dogs, but I love them on the grill.  I don't find that other things have quite the same effect. I like grilled burgers and all, but I also like them prepared in other ways.  With hot dogs, however, it's grilled or not at all.

I love the *bleep* van Dyke show. I'm not really sure why, although it might have something to do with the fact that his character in Mary Poppins was my favourite. I also love watching M*A*S*H* and the Dukes of Hazzard, probably because I used to watch them with my brother, so they bring back great memories. I can't resist the old cartoons either. Really, I prefer older shows. I've nothing against current tv shows, but I prefer the old ones.

Someday I want to raise a bunch of my own food. I would like a large vegetable garden. I want to raise my own veggies and can them. I love gardening and growing food. I'm just waiting for when I can get a house and a garden.

I like tuna melts. Fantastic on pumpernickel bread.
