Kobe 1 Protro Undefeated is kicking off the All-Star Weekend festivities in Los Angeles with a release of their Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Protro collaboration. This iteration goes down the nostalgic path with white tumbled leather uppers and a classic gum sole, a formula that can be found on their earliest collaborations with the Swoosh. The shop’s unbreakable five-strikes logo is emblazoned onto the heels and tongues, while Kobe’s iconic jersey numbers of 8 and 24 are placed on the opposite sides.This first collaboration will release on February 15th at the Nike Makers HQ at 555 Mateo St. in Downtown Los Angeles on a first come first serve basis. Created in conjunction with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, the latest KD 11 drop pays homage to the key figure in Durant’s life that sadly passed away when he was just 11 years old.The latest ‘Aunt Pearl’ silhouette joins a long list of similarly-themed kicks, as Durant continues his run as one of the most prominent players in the NBA.
