Kobe 1 Protro Undefeated is kicking off the All-Star Weekend festivities in Los Angeles with a release of their Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Protro collaboration. This iteration goes down the nostalgic path with white tumbled leather uppers and a classic gum sole, a formula that can be found on their earliest collaborations with the Swoosh. The shop’s unbreakable five-strikes logo is emblazoned onto the heels and tongues, while Kobe’s iconic jersey numbers of 8 and 24 are placed on the opposite sides. This first collaboration will release on February 15th at the Nike Makers HQ at 555 Mateo St. in Downtown Los Angeles on a first come first serve basis. This is separate from the release of the Camo version, which will drop at the UNDEFEATED pop-up on La Brea on February 16th. More info on the Camo version here.

Nike and Kevin Durant appear set to continue the proud tradition of honouring Durant’s Aunt Pearl, this time with a bright pink iteration of the KD 11. Created in conjunction with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, the latest KD 11 drop pays homage to the key figure in Durant’s life that sadly passed away when he was just 11 years old.The latest ‘Aunt Pearl’ silhouette joins a long list of similarly-themed kicks, as Durant continues his run as one of the most prominent players in the NBA. In fact, the theme first hit his signature kicks way back in the days of the KD6. In addition to the eye-catching all-pink design, you’ll also spot the names of 59 individual cancer survivors on the insole and heel.
After the continued resurgence from former MVP Derrick Rose — including his career-high 50 point haul last season — along with a handful of on-court previews and leaks of his upcoming D Rose 10, it’s safe to say that Pooh’s latest signature sneaker from adidas is one of his most anticipated in years. It is, of course, Derrick’s 10th signature sneaker, making him only the 8th NBA player in history to have released ten consecutive signature sneakers with the same brand. it’s also worth noting that adidas plans to begin retros of D Rose models this year, and with the point guard’s continued rise, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. The model is a celebration of the decade-long line, incorporating elements from all 9 sneakers that preceded it. A Bounce midsole and padded ankle collar/structured heel clip offer cushion and support in equal measures, while the outsole mixes herringbone and circular traction patterns for all-surface grip. The first five colorways have just dropped on hardenvol4.com, including pairs that pay homage to China — a country where he is so well-loved, as well as a shoutout to Simeon High, Derrick’s alma mater.
Nike Air Foamposite Pro will join the long list of silhouettes set to celebrate this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend festivities. This time around the sneaker carries on the DIY trend with interchangeable Swoosh logos. Set atop a white base, its color options consist of  black, copper, silver, bronze, iridescent and a few others. Added details include a translucent outsole plus black detailing found the heel and tongue branding. There’s currently no confirmed launch date set for this iteration, but stick with us for more information as it’s expected to drop sometime this month. Take a detailed look at the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “All-Star” above and let us know your thoughts.
