I don't see the jobless rate going down much in the next 6 months. I have been out of work since Feb 2009. I used to work in furniture sewing. I went to college while working full time and finished and have 2 associate degrees, so I apply in several industries. They have jobs listed, I am constantly searching. They never seem to hire anyone though because the jobs I apply for are still listed weeks or months later. I think some companies list positions that are not available to make themselves appear to be prosperous. I know some companies just want people to apply so if they have someone quit, they'll have a database to choose from, but the companies I'm talking about always seem to run the same ads, yet never fill the position. The biggest industry in my corner of the world used to be furniture manufacturers. So many have closed this year, I think it will take a very long time for the economy to pick up.

I've never really tried to quit smoking, so I can't give advice, except to say I believe it would be like quitting anything else you are attached to. You have to want to quit bad enough to do it and do it for yourself. Not because someone else wants you to. I'd like to hear more about electronic cigarettes. This is the first time I've heard of them.

When I was growing up my favorite show was Gunsmoke. It came on evey Saturday night and the whole family watched it. We were not allowed to talk while it was on. Guess that shows my age, huh?

I never had any sea monkeys. When I was a kid I thought I would like to get some. I actually thought they were sea horses. I found out later they weren't the same thing.

Hi, I believe in lust at first sight. I think you have to get to know someone to really love them. You may like them a lot but when you get to really know everything about them, will you still love them? I think genuine loves takes a while.

I like to make Baked Ham with pineapple and brown sugar. It's easy and my family absolutely loves it. There's not many leftovers when I make this either. It's very good.

I like to play in the snow with the family, and then snuggle up with my sweetie and watch TV. Or make hot chocolate. I love to watch it snow. In my part of the country we usually get one good snow each year that's maybe 10 or 12 inches. We don't usually get a lot.

I knew a girl who worked at a hair salon that had a monkey. The monkey wore dresses and a diaper. She didn't keep the monkey at the hair salon, she just brought it to visit some times. Really cute pet.
