Off-Topic / Favorite food to get at Taco Bell?
« on: July 16, 2011, 07:55:40 pm »Message ID: 386395
I'm about to roll up to Taco Bell and I think I'll get something I've never tried tonight.  I've never had their Mexican pizza, bean burrito(probably not missing much here), taco salads, or any of their nachos.  I almost always get the double decker taco or chicken burrito.  Getting hungry just talking about it.  Probably head out before this gets any response, if it does at all. :P

Many people point out that according to the Bible God established day and night on the first day, yet it wasn't till the 4th day that God created the sun, stars, and moon.  It is my position that God was the light of the world in the beginning and that it was divine light that was in order till the creation of the sun, stars, and moon.  There is a plethora of Bible verses which refer to God's light and verses which state that those who are in darkness will never understand the light.  Of course if you believe the earth came from a non created blob which exploded and created order and life from disorder and the inanimate then that makes total sense and your cognitive skills are without question.
Isaiah 60:19
The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light.
Revelations 21:23
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
John 9:5
While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

Off-Topic / Biblical conundrum? Light on first day, but no sun or moon till 4th day?

Suggestions / Can you add private messaging?
« on: July 15, 2011, 08:49:21 am »Message ID: 385746
Hello and greetings to whomever may be reading.  I love the site, but am a little puzzled over the absence of private messaging availability for members.  I see that you can make a buddy list for your favorite members, however this is quite useless without being able to privately converse with said person or even to let them know that they are on your buddy list.  It is my humble opinion that private messaging would add to the camaraderie of the site and increase membership, perhaps exponentially.

Payments / How much do you typically make on here per day?
« on: July 15, 2011, 08:03:30 am »Message ID: 385702
I usually make about 1.50 to 2.00 dollars a day with some poor days and then big days pulling up the average.

Off-Topic / What do you do if you find money on the ground? Look around for owner or grab?
« on: July 15, 2011, 07:18:57 am »Message ID: 385677
I've found money at the beach, gas station and amusement park and it's always a moral quandry as to what I should do.  At the beach I found a 100 dollar bill and waited a good while to see if someone would come back scouring the beach for lost money.  No one was around as it was a night walk on the beach and no one came back so I pocketed the money, but I felt a little bad for whoever lost their money.  I found 20 bucks at the gas station once.  I picked it up and looked around to see someone barge back into the store and start looking frantically on the floor, I gave them back the cash after I asked them if I could help them find something. :P  The guy was amazed I didn't pocket the cash and thanked me profusely. :)

Debate & Discuss / Is it wrong to eat cats/dogs/dolphins? In the East they don't think so......
« on: July 14, 2011, 05:56:26 pm »Message ID: 385481
Okay, first of all dolphins are endangered so I don't think they should be eaten.  However, if they weren't endangered then it's more of an open issue.  Buffalo were once almost extinct, but when we started eating them conservation took off and now they are thriving.....at least until they are made into buffalo burgers.  Cats, dogs, hamsters, and other family pets here in the U.S. are eaten with gusto in other parts of the world.  Do you judge people who eat off-limit animals?  If you are basing this on the fact that some animals are smarter than others then let's consider the pig which is one of the most intelligent animals of all and for all this it is relegated to an extra buck for bacon on your burger.

Off-Topic / Favorite Beer? Better not hear Bud Light..... ; )
« on: July 14, 2011, 05:34:40 pm »Message ID: 385456
It's summer time and a nice cold beer in hand is especially great right now.  I like hoppy beers and my favorite is probably Sierra Nevada Torpedo, just a little hoppier than the normal India Pale Ale.  I really can't stand the majority of light beers, mass produced swill, or beer in green bottles(gives the beer a skunky taste).  What say you?

Off-Topic / Will you buy Nintendo Wii U (next gen Wii console coming out next year)?
« on: July 14, 2011, 01:49:00 pm »Message ID: 385363
I think Nintendo made a humongous mistake with their design for the Wii U which will come out in 2012.  Only one controller can be used on the system so I hope you like playing with yourself. ;)  Once again Nintendo is relying on gimmicks, but I for one am tired of the same old ploy.  If this system is more than 300 dollars it is doomed, heck it may very well be the death knell for Nintendo.

Offers / Instant Credit?
« on: July 14, 2011, 08:09:32 am »Message ID: 385187
Every offer I see say's "Instant Credit", but many offers clearly state that you have to install such and such for at least so many days, weeks, or month before you will be credited.  The offers that make you wait and see should not be allowed to state "Instant Credit" when on their participation details it is claimed just the opposite.  Just some constructive criticism and it would be great if this could be fixed.  Has anyone received credit after a lengthy completion?  I'm currently waiting to see if I will be credited.

Off-Topic / Ever been court sentenced to community service?
« on: July 13, 2011, 02:52:21 pm »Message ID: 384742
Live and learn, I've done some less than bright things in my early life and wound up in a little trouble.  Just a little misdemeanor for pot possession about 12 years ago and to get it off my record I was ordered to do 50 hours of community service.  I completed it at the local college library putting books back on the shelves, putting property of stickers inside the books, and cleaning chores.

Offers / My antivirus protection says offer unsafe. What's the deal??
« on: July 13, 2011, 02:18:05 pm »Message ID: 384738
I have attempted quite a few special offers and my internet security flashes open and states that the particular page is known to be unsafe. :confused1:  I won't name the specific offer(s), but one involves downloading games and the other a toolbar download.  I am skeptical that these offers are really unsafe, perhaps it's because my internet security sees it as a soliciting website.  No idea. :dontknow:  Anyone tried any special offers that you know are safe?

Offers / Wish all Surveys did this....
« on: July 12, 2011, 11:45:17 pm »Message ID: 384376
I completed offers earlier today and they showed as a percentage how close I was to finishing the survey and that made it MUCH more enjoyable to complete the survey!  I sure hope advertisers begin to implement the completion status in more, if not all of their future surveys.  No survey should last longer than 25-30 minutes without letting you know if you are getting close to being done.

Off-Topic / Tabasco or Texas Pete? Best Hot Sauce
« on: July 06, 2011, 11:41:17 am »Message ID: 380661
Best hot sauce Tabasco, Texas Pete, or another brand?
I don't really even consider Texas Pete hot sauce as you have to douse your food to get any semblance of heat, but to each their own.  Tabasco is my main stay.  For wings when I don't care if it's hot then Frank's Red Hot is pretty tasty.

Offers / Groupon is Awesome!!
« on: July 06, 2011, 09:48:15 am »Message ID: 380619
I am very glad I signed up for the Groupon Offer.  Amazing deals right in my area.  They have huge discounts of restaurants, services, entertainment, et cetera based on where you live.  As of this morning I purchased two Fandango movie tickets with a value of up to 12 dollars each for 4 bucks. ;D  Highest recommendation.
