Off-Topic / Recommended Halloween/Horror movies?
« on: October 29, 2017, 12:18:19 am »Message ID: 1175808
My favorite horror movie is Texas Chainsaw Massacre from 1974.  However, the best Halloween horror movie is the first Halloween.  I have no idea how many Halloween sequels there were, but none compare to the first.

Off-Topic / First video game or system that you played?
« on: October 29, 2017, 12:02:17 am »Message ID: 1175806
My first video game system was the Atari 2600 and I loved playing Frogger, Return of the Jedi: Death Star Battle, Pitfall, and many others.  The first time I was amazed at a video game was Super Mario Bros on the Nintendo Entertainment System or NES.

Off-Topic / Top 10 favorite video games.
« on: July 18, 2016, 03:33:27 pm »Message ID: 1080501
I'm 38 and still play video games on my Wii U and Playstation 4.  I've been playing video games since the early 80's on my Atari 2600.  What are your ten or less favorite games of all time.  You can go in order or in no particular order if ranking them is too hard.  Here is my list in no particular order:  Chrono Trigger, Uncharted 4, Zelda: Links Awakening, Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil 4, Goldeneye, Final Fantasy VI, Secret of Mana, Star Fox, and Super Mario Kart.

Off-Topic / Any Atari fans here? 2600, 5200, 7800, or Jaguar?
« on: July 18, 2016, 03:23:46 pm »Message ID: 1080498
My first game system was an Atari 2600 and I loved playing Star Wars Return of the Jedi, Pitfall, Frogger, Dig Dug, Adventure, Night Racing, et cetera.   Any other fans of the retro game systems?  They still produce games for older systems such as the Atari 2600 at a certain online forum/website with the initials AA.

Offers / Repeating questions survey, over and over and over
« on: October 14, 2015, 01:31:05 am »Message ID: 1018242
Just seeing if anyone else has ever had this happen.  I did a 40 cent survey at the top of the list and it was going well until it repeatedly asked the same questions in a loop for 10 plus minutes.  What do you think of Fargo on a 1-5 scale then what do you think about Placeholder(I think this is a fake show) on a 1-5 scale.  It was numbered and the first time it asked about Fargo was about 60 and I finally gave up on question 134 which was a repeat.

Off-Topic / What was the first video game and/or system that you played?
« on: March 23, 2013, 07:36:23 pm »Message ID: 708988
I can't quite remember what the first video game I played was as I was only about 4 or 5 at the time.  I was born in 78' and the first video game system I played was the Atari VCS(video computer system)/2600.  3 games vie for first in my memory: Frogger, Ghost Manor, or Pitfall.  I still have my Atari and I still play it on occasion.  I clearly remember being in awe when I played Super Mario Bros. on Nintendo the Christmas of 85.  What was your first experience with video games whether in the arcade or at home?

Off-Topic / Twinkies back on shelves by this Summer!
« on: March 12, 2013, 06:17:49 pm »Message ID: 703455
Just read that a 410 million bid has been accepted to purchase the rights to several Hostess products including Twinkies.  It is expected that the famous spongecake will be back on shelves by this Summer.  Sure there are alternatives, but this made my day a little better. :)

Debate & Discuss / Do you think you should be able to wear a hat anywhere? church, restaurant, ....
« on: February 28, 2013, 07:09:51 pm »Message ID: 696010
Should you be able to wear a hat wherever you please?  No hat's in church for instance, unless your a woman then it's okay. :dontknow:  Is it really that disrespectful to wear a hat in most indoor locations?  Seems a bit much to me.  If your hat has a big marijuana leaf logo or other potentially offensive advertisement then I totally understand being told to take it off.

Off-Topic / What makes you happy?
« on: February 27, 2013, 06:16:53 pm »Message ID: 694919
Pretty simple question.  What makes you happy?  Is it money, family, sports, hobbies, relationships, God, Obama(not likely), or something else?

Support / Fusion Cash search bar keeps going missing....?
« on: February 26, 2013, 02:20:39 pm »Message ID: 694020
I've had the Fusion Cash search bar for the past year, but since I purchased my new computer it keeps going missing and I don't know how to add it back as my search provider.  My computer is running Windows 8, but I'm not sure this is the culprit as of yet.  If it is then this can be added to the plethora of other problems I'm having with my new operating system. :BangHead: :angry7:

Offers / Pest Control, just barely made the cut. : )
« on: February 26, 2013, 02:10:41 pm »Message ID: 694009
I did the paid to call Pest Control offer today and got lucky to not get kicked off the line.  As soon as I called the lady told me I had a corporate office number and that I should call a local number instead.  I was very respectful but had to be overly inquisitive to stay on the line.  Can I give you my email address so I can have someone contact me?  What are your rates?  Are there any specials at this time?  I'm having a problem with such and such is your service guaranteed?  Et cetera...... ;D  I was counting the time on Fusion Cash clock and just barely made 3 minutes before she politely told me that she could not help me further and directing me to another number for good. :o

Offers / My Thought Counts
« on: February 25, 2013, 04:05:24 pm »Message ID: 693533
It took about 10 different attempts, but I finally was able to finish a survey and was given the 1.00 reward.  It's all about persistence and that goes with any survey.  There is only one survey site that I have never been approved for, but for everyone else most of the time persistence pays off.

Off-Topic / What should you do for wedding anniversary?
« on: February 25, 2013, 02:02:58 pm »Message ID: 693469
I've been busy with work, online college classes, and even Valentines day.  My wedding anniversary was actually on the 24th or Sunday, but my wife said ahead of time that next week would be better to celebrate since we already had a few events lined up on our anniversary.  Whew! Off the hook for a little while at least. ;)  It is our 6th wedding anniversary so it's not a big milestone, but I need to do something.  I have some ideas, but would gladly take any suggestions.  What do you do on your anniversary?

Offers / 21st Century Insurance on paid to call
« on: February 24, 2013, 07:48:24 am »Message ID: 692695
I used the paid to call offer and reached 21st Century insurance, got a quote(almost the same as what I pay now), and was rewarded.  I saw that there was a separate paid to call Auto Insurance quote, but when I call it says I'm being directed to 21st Century.  Has this happened to anyone else and is there any way to work around this?  I did get a joint policy quote last time, perhaps I'll just ask for a quote for me this time around.  I was hoping it would be a different company, but I'll respond back if I can or can't get credit this time around.
