Off-Topic / Re: any tips of greasy hair?
« on: March 09, 2012, 10:49:46 am »Message ID: 502731
I've pretty much tried EVERY shampoo out there and my favorite is Simply U. They sell it at Wal Mart in a large pump style bottle, it's inexpensive and really does the job.  :angel11:It's sulfate and paraben free which means it won't foam. But just because something is foaming, doesn't mean it's working. It doesn't put build up in your hair and you'll find it a lot more manageable that way! There are so many more pros I could tell you about but I would go on and on. I can go 2 days at a time without washing my hair now. It's a lot softer and doesn't tangle as much. I'm completely in love with this shampoo
Also when you wash your hair, do not use a bunch of shampoo; use a little at a time. If washing it the first time doesn't help, repeat! I learned this in a book from a professional stylist in New York who manages the girls hair you see on the commercials. You'll most likely have to wash your hair 2 times but it pays off. Then, condition. But condition only the ends, and never the top. (makes it greasy again)

I don't go out of my way but I take vitamins everyday and I don't smoke, drink, or use any drugs. I use all natural products and eat healthy 80% of the time...It doesn't really take care of me though because my allergies are bad and I'm always sick. But I can't wait til summer time when I can start going outside and doing great things like swimming, hiking, and sports. :)

I use both, but I prefer homemade Goat's Milk Soap.  GoatsMilkStuff.com has some of the best kind!! It comes in lots and lots of different smells including popular ones like lovespell. A bar of their soap will make an entire room smell nice!

Michigan - This has also been a very mild winter in which I ENJOYED! I hate cold weather and I hate snow  >:( But the weather isn't really anything I describe. Wednesday was nice spring weather all around at 66 degrees. Thursday was bitter cold at 25 degrees and raining. Today is 37 and sunny off and on; the weather doesn't really know what to do. Can't wait for summer, I'm sick of being trapped inside the house! If I go outside I'll get sick :(

Yes, abuse in any form (physical, verbal, emotional) should never be tolerated. Some people (men and women) seem to get off on that kind of control and it's disgusting.
Good point because verbal is unacceptable too.

One time me and my ex-husband were on vacation golfing.  They paired us up with another coupon.  The man berated the woman each and every shot.  He called her stupid once or twice and just said things that I felt were abusive.  I was getting more and more upset.  The man got up to hit his ball and he hit it just enough for it to bounce up and hit him really hard in the crotch.  I almost fell out of the cart laughing.  I could not contain myself. I still laugh thinking about it.  He was pretty quiet the rest of the round.

Sometimes your payback comes right away, sometimes it takes a while, but I am convinced that one day, people like him always pay for what they do.

That's the best story I've heard in a while. I don't think a person should be abused period as well. I'm guilty of verbally abusing my boyfriend, but I feel like I'm stating the facts. My mother did it to our family growing up. Mostly my dad and I. I swear I get it from her and really have a hard time controlling it. If you ever looked at what a loser my boyfriend is, and the fact that he doesn't try to better himself you might do it too. I am completely frustrated with him and really feel I do not have a choice but to deal with his actions because I love him and we are going to be having a baby together. I just pray to god I never talk my child down, ever. But I am TERRIFIED he will turn out like his father, but I also cannot talk his father down to him. Abuse sucks. They have help for the abused, but they really don't have help for the abusers. Other than a shrink. I wouldn't mind a shrink o.0

If I had to pick a "charity" to donate to, it would be a church. Unlike general charities churches cover more than one area. They help everyone in need, and use the money for good causes such as food, clothing, and missions.

dwggs.. I was sort of offended by your first 3 statements as even though I love kitties, I am allergic to them and I "get along" with dogs better. Then I saw you also had a dog and I was glad to hear :) I'm happy to learn that you're an animal lover like myself. Animal lovers are always, good-hearted, kind people. :)

Off-Topic / Re: Best age to have your first child?
« on: March 05, 2012, 10:51:43 am »Message ID: 500368
I was always told that there is never a right time to have a child. Also, age has nothing to do with it. You could be 23 or 24 and well accomplished, stable, and married but maybe it still is not a good time to have a child because you are going to move within the next year or years. Or, maybe you won't be stable and accomplished until you're 30!!
I'm going to be having my first in June and I'm only 19, I'll be 20 shortly after I have him. But he was a surprise and I don't believe in abortions, I loved him when I seen him on my 6 week ultrasound. Although things are not stable, he motivates me and gives me a purpose in life. When I'm 30 and still very young and full of life he will be 10 and a handful. I can help him in sports and schooling may have not drastically changed, so it will be easier for me to help him with his homework. When he is 20 I will only be 40, and if he has kids by 24 I will only be 44 and STILL full of life for my grandchildren.

I believe every age has it advantages, and you should always do what is right or be responsible for what you've done wrong :)

Does not sound like a good way to start a marriage!! If you can't get over your ex. It sounds like you made a good choice to go to college, I hope you finished!! Go on with your life and forget about the ex. It sounds like your are starting a new life and be grateful!!

Never could have been said better! Forget about your ex. Obviously they are your ex for a reason!

Just in time for Easter :) I had a friend who worked in the mall that I work in whom was jewish and I did not know. However, every time he would come and buy food from me I would treat him with great respect and make sure that when he told me he could not have milk I honestly told him everything that was with milk, and some times had fresh chicken made for him so it was without milk. Yesterday, he told me this was his last day in america, that he was going back home to Israel to be with his family. I said that is funny I have always taken care of you. I did not know the reason you were so particular with your food was because you were jewish! He smiled and said yes, that is why. It made me realize that Israel is the apple of god's eye and we should treat jews with honor even if we do not agree with their religion. I feel blessed.

see if there is a stewart valley and associates in your area. I go through them, and they branch through all different insurance companies. I have compared a quote with almost every insurance company listed here and they all charge more. They also cut you deals, like I sold my sunbird...But they told me in order to make my full coverage cheaper for my focus, it was required that I leave the sunbird on there, whether I sold it or not...
