Off-Topic / Re: what did u have 4 dinner last night?

I was fired recently so I had a simple grilled cheese. My appetite is not there and I only eat to nourish my body, but I find no pleasure in anything except making a few cents here and there. This too shall pass (hopefully).

I also see a change in the world. Some things have changed for good, but some things have changed for the worse. Children are growing up in toxic environments and the values instilled on us are not transferring to the next generation for the most part. Who knows what this world will look like in 50 years.

While the risks of complications do increase after age 35, the percent is not that different from the risk of complications for women 25-30. The major concern for women over 35 is they will have a harder time getting pregnant. Now that you are, simply get enough rest, light exercise (i.e. walking), eat healthy balanced meals..etc. Congratulations.

I have never done that, but I am always weary of promotions that require you to pay. Let us know how it turns out and let's hope for the best.

Off-Topic / Re: Who watched the Debate?
« on: October 04, 2012, 12:09:04 pm »Message ID: 616740
I watched the entire thing. I thought it was one of the most engaging and articulate debates I have seen in a...actually ever. I like both candidates. I wish they could be co-presidents. Why hasn't American thought of that. Two presidents so it will be like CEO and CFO. The one who knows how to handle business (Romney) manages the fiscal part, and the one who knows how to keep the country safe (Obama) runs everything else. We all know Cheney was the real president so why not have 2 presidents and one vp. I'm still undecided. On a personal level, I think Obamacare is a huge mistake. Insurance companies don't like giving pay outs and the lack of preventative medicine on the part of each citizen (exercising, eating right...etc) will mean billions of dollars the country simply doesn't have. Many company health plans will simply go away. That is a scary thought. Plus who likes to wait months on end for an appointment. That is what would happen when all of a sudden everybody and their momma has access to healthcare. It's good for those with real hardships and disabilities, but we all know that this is a country of entitled beings who know how to play the system. As a healthcare professional, I have seen women on Medicaid getting their mammaries done, driving escalades, and carrying around $700 purses. That really hurts to see that. Meanwhile, the little old grandma who worked all her life and is now on Medicare can't get a Prior Authorization from her insurance for a life saving medication. I like that Romney doesn't believe in entitlement and he made it clear he has no plans to cripple the middle class. Obama has put in measures that have been fabulous for many. For me, my student loans have a great rate thanks to him. It's going to be a close one.

If I were stranded on an island I would want to have a swiss knife, morphine, and a broad spectrum antibiotic

The new Cocaine is Oxycodone. Scary stuff. More people die from an overdose of oxycodone than any of the illegal substances. Also many folks addicted to benzos like Xanax, Valium..etc.

Payments / Re: Has anyone got their payment revoked for a FC daily survey?

That's why I stay away from surveys now. I get extremely frustrated spending copious amount of time just to hit a wall. I haven't had one revoked, but that would REALLY upset me too.

Off-Topic / Re: how can you tell when your spouse is cheating
« on: June 11, 2012, 08:02:14 am »Message ID: 551585
Check the cell phone bill. Look for trends. Make sure that if you go this sleuth route, you are prepared for what you will find. Don't confront your spouse without evidence, but I do suggest having a conversation about the status of your relationship. People get comfortable in relationships. Find ways to spice things up. Good book is called the 5 love languages. Check it out.

I completely agree. It's better to do a little everyday but maintain consistency and perseverance.

I use an elliptical, run around the neighborhood and do sit ups and dips. I haven't been that very good exercising. I am feeling low energy.

I wish I could own pets. I had a cat, but he died  :'( earlier this year. He was with me for 10 years. It was a major adjustment when he grew up from being a kitten and I discovered I was allergic to adult cats. I figured it out though as there was no way I was going to give him up. He was my baby. I don't think I'll live with special accommodations for a pet again. Sheets all over the place, training them to not jump on the furniture and bed, taking medicine when it gets bad...etc. I love dogs, but I am even more allergic to them. I wish I could own a Siberian Husky. They are so cute and seem very protective of their parents. When I am more settled into my life, get some stable income, I might buy a saltwater tank. Have a pet shark LOL!

I like salad. I especially love a salad with a combination of veggies and fruit. Like lettuce, onion (red), carrots, tomatoes, mandarin slices, and pineapple tidbits.

I think there is alway something to do. I have several projects that I should have accomplished but haven't because I procrastinated. I do get a similar feeling when I complete my to do list for the day, but work is never done. I am a woman LOL.
