Off-Topic / Re: The worst customer service skills
« on: July 18, 2014, 06:49:57 am »Message ID: 900497
Some people have the worst customer service skills. I went to the veggie market yesterday, layed
my groceries down on the counter, the cashier starting ringing them up, never said hello, good bye, or thank you.

I wish i was doing the mystery shopper job because she would get written up for that.

What bad experiences have you had recently?

You can report a bad experience whether you are mystery shopping or not.  I recently had a similar experience at a Weigels.  The girl was just a butt.  I was getting a slushie and they were out of lids so I went over and ask her if she could refill the lids.  She walked away and never said a word.  I assumed she went to get the lids.  She brought them over and filled them up and I said thank you and she kind of grunted.  I went to pay for slushie and she still never said a word to me.  She sure talked and joked with her friend who was in line in front of me.  Some people are just b*tchy and that is all their is to it.

Off-Topic / Bullies

I have a random question here.  If an adult is being bullied by another adult in the work place and attempts have been made to stop the bullying but nothing seems to work do you think it is wrong to get the bully on video and post it on youtube.  I know this has happened before but it is usually kids.  I am not sure what I think.  I keep hearing a lot about "shaming" people lately.  Not really sure I think that is right but if the victim can't seem to stop the bully any other way do you think it is wrong to do something like that?

Have you all seen the Comcast employee from H*ll that argued for like 20 minutes with the guy about WHY he wanted to cancel his service?  He ended up 10 minutes into the call recording the call and posting on youtube.

Personally, I would not have argued with him and would not have told him over twice to cancel the service before I asked for a supervisor.  When I turned my home phone off with ATT she tried to argue with me and I think I had to ask for a supervisor before she decided she could disconnect it.  I don't want this service any longer.  Turn it off.  End of story.

I think we got ours at Walmart about 20 years ago.  I cannot remember not having it.  May have came from Office Max.  Anyway, they should last as long as you don't shred a ton at a time or too many pages at a time.  That will burn the motor in a hurry.

I know it seems like most people do lose their hair which sucks but it will grow back and if it mean the difference between life and death losing hair is not that huge of a deal.  As for being sick it seems like people don't talk about being sick as much.  Have not been thru it personally but know people who have.

Not really.  I guess it seems more like it is winding down when school starts back but around my part it starts back Aug 1 and there is still a ton of summer left.

Off-Topic / Re: ways to earn money on line

Reasonably priced?  If you have to pay them to do the work or to be able to participate you are not making any money and it is a scam.

As for making money online- other than sites like this unless you have an online business or sell on ebay you aren't going to make money online.  And sites like these don't make enough to pay the bills.  I make enough to make it worth my time to be on them.  Sometimes anyway.  Right now I am trying hard to get to the $25 threshhold to cash out on FC so I don't lose what I have.

I am not asking about debt cards. lol.  But credit cards.  I am curious if during these hard economic times if there are people who have to pay bills with a CREDIT card.  Because no matter how hard they try they can't do it any other way.

I don't know why I even clicked on this.  And I will admit I did not read the posts but I will answer the question.

First off, every one sins.  No one is perfect.

God is very real.  So is His Son.  If you reject His Son then yes you will spend eternity in Hell.  Being saved does not mean you are perfect nor does it mean you claim to be perfect.  I am a Child of God.  Yes I claim to be a Christian.  But I have never claimed to be perfect nor have I ever thought I was better than anyone else.

I do not go to the doctor.  I don't have the money.  And where I live they won't even see you until you pay them.  So you can't have a bunch of bills piled up.  A doctor visit is $95 and you pay that before they even take you to the back.  Then if they do blood work or something like that you have to pay that before they will see you again.

I was going to say the same thing as natashaspy :)

Sounds like it wouldnt be something she would buy for herself

Or if thats too expensive, how about a gift certificate to get her hair and nails done

This could be good or bad.  If someone gave this to me it would be totally wasted money.  I have no desire to get my hair cut or dyed so I have no need to go to a beauty shop and I don't have long fingernails.  I know people suggest this a lot but to me that would be the same as getting nothing.

I know from my past experience church goers seem to be some of the worst tippers.

A lot of people say this.  I waited tables when I was in high school.  We had 2 thieves among us so I am not sure if people were bad tippers or if the b*tches just beat me to my tables and stole my tips.  Beside the point. lol.  But a lot of people say the exact same thing.

I remember working at Taco Bell, a long time ago, and due to unforseen circumstances the restaurant was not open on time.  At 12:15 there was a man with his family who had clearly just left church who cussed me bad because I would not open the door and let him in.  It is no wonder people do not want to go to church.  People see this and they think, heck, I act better than that so why should I go to church.
