Off-Topic / Re: What will you do on halloween

Not participating in Halloween trick or treating this year. So, like others, I will turn off my porch lights -- which are usually on all night -- and hopefully not get trick or treaters.  Not even going to decorate my front yard this year.  The beginning of the end for me, I think.

Did you see the video where they are promoting people to hand out candy via long tubes, where the tube is put near the trick or treaters bag, and then the candy is put in the other end by the candy giver & the candy slides down the tube into the trick or treaters bag -- so dumb.   Just skip it this year.  It's just candy.

Clown World, USA.

Trump pressed him hard and Biden looked like the kid who got so frustrated that all he could do is call names

It was somewhat of a twist for it to be Biden that was calling Trump names & telling him to shut-up -- who says "shut-up" to the President of the United States, or anyone really.  That nervous laughter he kept using when he couldn't defend himself.  First Presidential debate I ever watched, they should just put the two candidates together & let them debate without any kind of biased moderator.
I think Biden was foolish to accept debating Trump. He had to know there would be a zillion interruptions.Unless he felt let the public see how rude he really was.

Name calling? He called him a clown and worst president of all time.I have no prob him as a clown....but i thought 2nd Bush was worst president of all time.

Bush #2 was up there for sure; but Bush #1 was pretty bad as well --Bush, the elder, started the US towards one world order & pushed us towards globalization. Thankfully we have Trump & not Jeb.  Enough Bushes already.

I had no idea who Mac Davis was... looked him up & I do recognize him.  I think he was popular in my youth... I'll have to research.

Are they planning to use the same picture of "Uncle Ben" on the new packaging of "Ben's Original"?  Or are they planning to completely remove all Black people off all packaging to solve racism?

For being "neutral", you sure have a lot of political opinions.

Just sayin'.
Yes i do.

I DONT vote.

Just sayin.

Do U have a problem with truth?

Just because you don't vote doesn't mean you're neutral, when you have a clear bias & always volunteer to express your political opinion which isn't a neutral one... if you were truly "neutral" you wouldn't have bothered to start this thread, nor would you be bothering to express your non-neutral opinion on politics trying to persuade others towards your bias. Neutral means staying out of it... do you ever see Switzerland ever weighing in on world affairs? No... because they are neutral & stay out it.

Cognitive Dissonance is hard for some, perhaps that applies to you?

I didnt see this but heard about it when he was released.

Trump got out of the helicopter and took off his mask and saluted his following?

Did he really think everyone was interested in seeing his pearly whites?

Trump got out of the helicopter, walked across the White House lawn, walked up the steps to the balcony, got to the balcony, then took off the mask.

People are obviously interested because here you are talking about it.  He has a Covid-19 which is a respiratory illness & probably after all that walking & climbing the steps, he perhaps needed to breathe unobstructed without a mask, as if you would have seen the video he was obviously gasping for air when he took the mask off & there was no one within 6 or even 12 feet of him & he was still outside, so what is even the big deal

I thought people were being tested for Covid-19 for free.  I saw a drive-up testing center in Kaiser's parking lot last week.  I took my elderly father through the drive through flu shot in another drive-up testing center section they have, so he didn't have to get out of the car, just put his arm out the window.  It was all covered.

Trump needs to calm down and Biden needs to stop lying. Biden did call the soldiers "stupid bast****." The video of him saying this is on you tube.

I've seen that video -- it's all over Twitter.

Not going to lie, I thought she had already died when I heard the news... she hasn't been in the news or mentioned in decades.

I liked her in Pete's Dragon, that was a really good Disney movie  RIP Helen.
