I heard of her passing, but I am unfamiliar with her and the movie she starred in. My condolences though.

If I recall, that movie also starred a young and geeky Patrick Dempsey - years before his stretch on Grey's Anatomy.

Off-Topic / Re: What kind of neighborhood do you live in?
« on: July 11, 2015, 01:11:58 pm »Message ID: 996160
Live in a CRAPPY neighborhood where the houses are all right on top of each other and very little yard to speak of.  On a nice Sunday I can watch drug sales take place just down the street.  I park on the street (when someone else isn't already parked there) and cars go by at all hours of the day with the bass vibrations turned up to eleven.  Our bedroom is in the front of the house about 10 or 12 feet away from the street itself.  We also live about a block away from the hospital and our street is a short two block one way street that connects two of the main routes in town.  That results in a lot of traffic and a primary route the ambulances take to get to the ER. Kids from all surrounding streets have their school bus stop right in front of my house and have vandalized both my house and car at times.  >:(

We have a perfect spot picked out just 10 or 15 minutes away in a much more rural area to buy about a half acre of land when the money rolls in and we have a few house plans already picked out for when we are able to sell this place and build our dream home.  Hopefully I will make a few thousand dollars on Fusion Cash to help speed that along!   :D    (C'mon referrals!  I need your help here!!)  ;)

In fact, my wife and I drive by the proposed neighborhood often and dream about what it will be like to eventually live there, while we hope and pray that not all of the lots are snatched up before we get our chance to buy one!

Off-Topic / Re: Addicted to a tv show

I've watched that show quite a bit myself.  I am about 20 or 25 pounds overweight -- nothing extreme, but still something I need to keep in check.  Changing your eating habits is very difficult, but for people who are THAT much overweight, it is often a coping mechanism to deal with some other emotional issues.  It is interesting to watch a show like my 600 pound life alongside a show like Hoarders and see the similarities between the subjects who just fall into different patterns of coping.

That said, I think that TLC purposely tries to manufacture "drama" when it comes to the show's subjects either being defiant with the doctor or eating things they shouldn't be -- otherwise the show wouldn't evoke such strong emotions from its viewers and wouldn't draw as many people back each week.

Think about it - they follow and film these people for an entire year and then whittle that down to a 60 minute episode.  So the editors are sure to crop in the worst of the worst days just for the shock factor.  It is both exploitive AND informative at the same time.  Still you can't help feeling sympathy for some and dislike for others...

Offers / Re: what did you do for the 4th
« on: July 11, 2015, 04:51:33 am »Message ID: 996072
It was a busy day  4th of July. We went to the parade, then bunch of carnival rides and went to see the best fireworks in the Midwest.

I am curious as to where "the best fireworks in the Midwest" are located.   ;)
I spent the 4th with my wife and daughter at the best Amusement Park in the Midwest (and the World, for that matter) and then we finished it up with a pretty good fireworks show at the same park!

Offers / Re: Pine Cone Panel
« on: July 11, 2015, 04:47:50 am »Message ID: 996071
Pine Cone is absolutely the best survey panel out there! But as some have said, you have to apply to join and may not be accepted as a member.  If you CAN get in, DO IT! You will automatically qualify for every survey they send you -- none of that spending 15 - 20 (or 50) minutes answering survey questions only to be told at the ends that you do not qualify for payment.

If I wan't already a Pine Cone member, I would JUMP at this offer!!!

Is the monthly post bonus based on the normal calendar month or based upon the anniversary date of your signup?  I am new to FC and so I haven't really gotten into the full swing of things here yet.  I'm guessing it is probably calendar based rather than anniversary date based, but just wanted to make sure.  Thanks!

FusionCash / Re: love fusion cash and hello to the community

I am also new to FC, but a veteran to PTC, online surveys, and like-minded sites in general.  I'm surprised that I had not come across FC in the past.  Maybe I did and just don't recall the name or didn't take the time to investigate it further -- there are so many of those other scam/sham sites that don't pay much of anything if at all.  I am hoping to stick around for a while and earn a fair amount of money with FusionCash!

FusionCash / Re: Referrals
« on: July 10, 2015, 07:51:54 am »Message ID: 995884
I have a web site where I promote different money making web sites and mobile phone apps that also earn money, but had never seen Fusion Cash until just recently.  Yesterday I added a banner ad link for Fusion Cash to my pages and added a short description for Fusion Cash to the content page.  Today I had two new Fusion Cash referrals!

I'm not going to post a link to my site as I believe it is against the forum's Terms of Service, but I've had some luck generating referrals to other sites using the same methods.
