I seriously considered it, even went as far as to meet prospective adoptive parents. I didn't do it, I was young and everyone in my family was threatening to disown me if I did.
I still think about it though, since I feel like I made a selfish decision in keeping him. I couldn't imagine life without him now, of course, 13 years later.
The adoptive parents had money, and we have always struggled. My point is no matter your decision you will second guess yourself. You just have to deal with it and hope for the best.

There are a few places I've seen Stephen King discuss how he gets his ideas. In the back of some of his books he will talk about it. You can tell he borrows from different mythologies (if you're a reader).

My son recently got me reading Suzanne Collin's Hunger Games Trilogy. They may be Young Adult books but they are great. The Bartimaues Series by Jonathan Stroud are good also.

I took piano for a while when I was a kid, but none of it stuck. I wish I could now though.

how old is she? All I can say is positive reinforcement works way better than negative. The more of a big deal you make of it, the more she'll stress out and fight it.

I'll take my son to see it. He has read the books and seen the movies. They usually have a midnight showing at our local theater when the new one comes out.
