I saw the movie and I have enjoyed pretty much all the star trek movies with a few exceptions and those exceptions were just bad story writing.
I definitely liked this movie but you have to like science fiction movies or just science fiction in general.

I have not seen it. Don't plan on seeing it either. I really don't like star trek.

I loved the earlier Star Wars movies.  They are best to watch in the theater to get the surround sound and big screen but it is more economical to wait for it to come out and purchase it on DVD.  That way I can watch it more than once (since it usually takes me more than one viewing to see a whole movie ~ I can't sit still very long).
