My daughter loves her instapot.  She cooks all kinds of things in hers.  She tried to talk me into getting one but I wasn't interested.

I've heard of Instapot but don't have one yet. After reading these comments I think I may need to get one now lol

It's a fancy name for a pressure cooker ... but a  "Electric Pressure Cooker"   and i have the old kind and a electric on my Amazon wish list. Pressure cooking is great!

This is new to me, however, I don't think I'd care to purchase one.  I'm really loving my crock pot more with the passing years.  It forces you to get ingredients/menu planned in advance, which I like, and allow the slow cooking time to do the work for you.  Plus, I love the way the house smells.

The big difference is the Instant Pot is MUCH simpler and safer than the old style pressure cookers.
