Good luck to you, I gave up on diets and now am going to use DDP Yoga, it's not your mama's yoga to see if that will get the weight off...

Liquid diets can work, but they're definitely not a one-size-fits-all. It depends on "why" you need to lose weight (like you eat healthy but don't exercise enough vs. you exercise enough but only eat junk, etc.) and how much you're trying to lose. Plus if you go a little too gung-ho on a liquid diet, there can be funky side effects. Like, if you drop a lot of weight really fast (say, 20 lbs. in a week) and stick to the diet long-term, you're hair will get thinner, and you're bones can be weaker, plus other potential stuff. This is due to the lack of nutrients (protein for hair, calcium for bones) in your diet, which is why true liquid fasts for the purpose of weight loss are supposed to be doctor-supervised.

On the other hand, if you work it in as part of eating healthier, it can help. I used to drink Nestle Sweet Success (like Slim Fast, but they don't make it anymore. I still miss it) and eat a banana for breakfast when I was on the go. It beats eating fast food or other junk. Now I keep Clif Bars in my car for when I need a pick-me-up (they have more protein than a lot of granola bars, which can help stabilize blood sugar), but I think I'll have better luck when I start taking lunch to work instead of buying out.

Good luck to everyone!  ;D

Thank you!

I have tried everything at least once, pills, lotions and potions. Until we get our minds made up to what we want to do vs what we need to do; I don't think we will ever find a pill or anything else that will do it for us.

I am with you guys I am going to try again. This is a great thread I hope we meet here often.

I've started a new exercise regimen also.  Mine is not that intense or lasts for that duration.  Instead, I walk to some places, during the day and when its safe.  I used to park close to the building as possible.  Again, when it is safe for me, I will park away from the building and walk.  I have noticed that I feel better now that I have added walking as a part of my exercise routine.  I guess I will work up to stretching and other forms of exercise as the year progresses.  Good luck on your diet.

I'm sorry it can be so frustrating gaining a little weight but it's great that you are going to get back into the swing of a diet! I am too as I am trying to loose a few pounds before summer :D
