Do you believe that aliens have visited the Earth?

I dont think they've visited Earth, but I do believe in them.  A great line from the movie Contact (based on Carl Sagan) is "If there isnt life out there, that's an awful lot of space to waste."  We have only begun to explore the vast regions of space near Earth, there is no telling what is out there.

I am skeptic about alien abductions, sightings, and visits.


Bit off topic but:
My only alien dream, well my only nightmare really, happened two or three times, back when I was a kid.
Very short. I open the front door and look towards the kitchen and there's such a bright white light that I can't make out anything but my grandmother - who has an alien face and an elongated neck (sorta like certain African/Asian tribes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neck_ring).
I then wake up.
After I had it a couple times, I told my twin sister. She said she'd had the same dream, only she was standing in our bedroom door! (which opens up onto the kitchen)

Big green guys who fly saucer shaped UFOs?  Not at all.  Nothing more than fiction out of Hollywood.

Do I believe there is life elsewhere in the universe?  Most likely, given the sheer odds and the fact that it happened once that we know of (Earth).

Do I believe we'll ever make contact with them?  Probably not.

Do I believe they've visited Earth?  No.  I see no reason to believe that.

No, I bealive there is other life form wether it be plant, organism ect. ect. but to think their are aliens with huge heads and slender arms that will prop the simple minded folk of the world thats just silly.

i beleive there probably is something what i dont know ,, but i have watched ufo hunters and that show makes you really think,
me personally i have seen something in the sky before me and my son saw a grey ball in the sky for about 30 seconds or so and then it just dissappeared. it was weired..

How can you be an immigrant to a place where you have always been?

Note however that a lot of our neighbors to the south have no indigenous ancestry and are descended from an occupying force,there for no legitimate claim to territories north of your border.

Its highly unlikely that this is the only planet in the entire universe that has intelligent life on it.

However, given the theory of relativity stating that its impossible to achieve the speed of light, and the overall size of the universe, and how far away the nearest intelligent life even is, I doubt that we as a species will EVER make contact with another life form.  We will probably kill ourselves first when some country tests a new weapon and accidentally blows up the entire planet.

UFO sightings?  Abductions?  I'm highly skeptical.

i believe they exist, and yes have most likely been on or are on this planet

for those of you that don't believe it is possible that intelligent life exists and possibly exceeds are own somewhere out there

the sheer permutations for the arrangements of atoms that would allow for life should exist on multiple planets throughout the universe (imho)
